Vce being one of the oldest engineering colleges in India as in historic campus with basic infrastructure the facilities include classrooms and laboratories with smart class and aur department as all necessity equipments for practical work the library is well started with academic resources, and seminar hall
Aur college as a strong reputation in the academic wise because the emphasis and both theoretical and practical aspect the professors are experiences in sustainable expertise, with this they suggest to make additional certificate and internships to take competitive in the job market
I feel placement is good at our college around 60to70% of the students will get placed in good companies around 300 to 400 companies will visit to recruit as the more number of students are there , students need to be prior with all necessary preparations
One of the best college in Bengaluru, And it has best infrastructure along with that it built in 1917 by a Sir M Visvesvaraya college of Engineering. In last year complete college is altered and established in better manner as described in present technology .
I am studying presently in final year engineering in mechanical Branch, while considering the academics it has better Professors having So much Capability in their teaching along with better knowledge .
My self Siddalingayya Mathad I am presently studying in Mechanical Engineering .Their is no doubt in having placement in this college , So much Reputed company will attend the drive Such as Mercedes, Royal Enfield, Tata Technologies, Toyota, Houdai etc
fees= 30000 for one year ....
100%
College building is quite good, lab equipments are too old, beautiful rock garden. But College campus to too small compare to other collegs. events happen every year, but imagine how grand feasts in government College.
I am pursuing 2nd year Mechanical in uvce .Academic is not too bad some teachers are very experienced and teach well. Sometimes they rarely complete syllabus. Everything depends on your self study. Attendance and internal marks will given at the end .But there is something that no other College is giving except uvce is "time" ,they give so much time for study that u will tried of seeing books.
Placement are top notch, if you just talented you would get easily Placement in uvce. According to 2022 For IS(98%),For CS(96%),For EC and EEE is average of (88 to 90%),!For MECH(85%),For CIVIL is bad(only 44%).Average salary is about 6-8 lacs. As I said early if u maintain good CGP and have some extra skills u will easily get placements.
For Middle class students it is heaven.
If have some money u would definitely enjoy Bengaluru.
Yaa our college have all necessary infrastructure but have in limited, and facilities and equipment are theirs ex purifier water , workshop, labs, washroom are there car parking, etc..abd it's the 1st college made in Karnataka by Visvesvaraya. And library has wifi .
I am studying 2nd year btech mechanical engineering and my last 1&half year experience I can say academic are average because they give so many holidays, and teacher facilities not good we have to self study more we can't depend on teacher to take class bcz they can't take class at correct time!!
Placement are ???????? good or very good this is a govt autonomous college under IIT model ,that's why good company will come to our college to acquire students in 2022mechanical placement is 83% and in 2023 one student from al&ml got 58 lakh per annum. And avg salary is 6 lakh to civil. Cs,ai 90 % above placement, eee&ec 80 above placement etc.
Since it is a government college the cost of per annum is lesser than another colleges. Per annum 40k. And yaa I feel money its worth
I think we need some more space for fest, dj, celebration no sufficient place for these events And i think college should have college canteen Rock garden is good ???? College environment is cool College canteen is must
Mechanical engineering And i don't know why I selected this branch as a first year student i don't know much more about academics As I heard uvce is good for mechanical engineering Ready to enjoy 4 years
As a first year student i am focusing on to clear all subjects And i don't have any idea about placements As per my knowledge our college cs student senior got 25lpa which is good but don't have any idea about mechanical placements
First of all i got great apportunity of getting admission in a government college which is totally worth No need to pay any kind of extra payment And course cost per year is 45750 which is not expensive for engineering college
Campus life is good Nice staff And no worries abt attendance they will manage Some lectures are too horror but over all nice No pressure from staff Many clubs are there for enjoyment and exploring
Coming to the infrastructure of the college it's not very high class and not very bad at the same time it's pretty average. Mech dept has the best infrastructure compared to other branches reason being their block is newly build
Academics part it's mostly self study in this college you'll have to be depended on your self and previous year papers, and seniors notes. If joining this college please don't expect to be mouth fed when coming to academics.
Placements are in par with other colleges in Bamgalore so this college offers you decent enough placements according to me. Where the information science dept has being maintaing 100% placement records since a past few years.
Coming to Value for money there is no college atleast in Bangalore which comes even close to this, because fee is verry verry low compared to any other Engg. College out there.
If you join this college you'll have very much liberty amd freedom now it's students responsibility to use it to their best and feasts here are also average to above average is what I would tell. You won't regret attending any feasts here
Though uvce is a government college it has a very good infrastructure. The college have well equipped laboratories, classrooms, library and a very good environment This College also provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls
Academics are pretty good in uvce ,as all our lecturers are well qualified and knowledgeable but there is nothing called spoon feeding in this college. We should be capable of self studying. Exams are quite easier, you can get an idea about the question papers by seeing pyqs
Talking about placements, uvce facilities the best placements among all the government colleges and even among some private colleges. Over 90 percent of students were placed in reputed companies The highest package was around 59 LPA last year Mechanical engineering has a very good placements with satisfiable packages
As uvce is a government college, the fee structure is low and uvce provides good education along with good placements and the faculties are also very good It provides absolutely great value for money
The campus life is chill in here. There are lots of fests, events and also you'll get ample time to learn extra things as there were no much assignments and pressure as such, and learning also will be independent
Overall it's a very good college, worth for all your money. You can enjoy your engineering life here and can get placed in a good company also it's on how you utilize your time
All the necessary infrastructure is available, the classrooms have projectors which are very helpful while learning. The labs are well equipped with instruments. A cafe and vending machine is available for food and beverage supply.
The faculties are very knowledgeable of the course, very patient with the students. Clear and efficient teaching, can get your doubts cleared after classes in their cabin. The syllabus is very different and practical based.
The placements have been very good, all the branches have above 85% placements. The TPO of the college is very good in guiding the students and training them for good placement opportunities, the college is very supportive.
The cost for first year is 45000, and the fees for further 3 years goes down, the last year's fees is 24000. The cost to value ratio is very good as this is a state autonomous public University.
Many good places to enjoy in the campus, the rock garden in the main campus is full of life with people from all the different branches, the interaction is very good and important. The cafe provides healthy and delicious food for good price.
The overall infrastructure of the college is good. All the facilities are provided by the college to the students.labs are well equipped, the classes are well maintained. Hostel facilities are also available.
My experience till now is very good. The teaching is good. Yes, all teachers are very helpful, kind, qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams in our college are not very difficult. If someone has been continuous in his semester studies so they can easily pass the semester with good grades. The course curriculum is good.
Placement is given by college is good. Every year students get placement in well reputed and renowned companies. College also provides us internship for better future and experience. In recent past years UVCE placements recorded 90℅ hiring rate and students were placed in top MNC'S. The median package offered was INR 7 LPA and INR 8 LPA . The highest package was around 59 LPA last year.
It's value for money. Placement is very well. Outstanding faculty. Over as per education is very very.
The campus life is great as the college hosts multiple events throughout the curriculum which keeps the students engaged in extracurricular activities. But it depends on us how we deal with our life in the campus.
As we know that UVCE is the state's first autonomous Institute on the IIT model. I also recommend students to take admission in this university in any department they want to get admission. Here the admissions are only through kcet ranking. I just want to say that it's all on you from where you study just give your 100℅ !!!
Our college is abundant in knowledge and resources and experienced staff. But does lack necessary infrastructure and equipments in the laboratory. The infrastructure is quite old and not very fancy. The facilities are quite limited, but we get to learn a lot from the college.
The exams and academics get delayed because of certain reasons. The lecturers here are quite knowledgeable, but do have a generation gap with today's kids and technologies. But the curriculum does fulfill all the required criteria.
The solemn reason to join uvce is it's quality of placements. It has a huge alumni network. We have a whole bunch of talented and skilled and resourceful alumnis and the college is quite consistent with its high placement rate.
Campus life is quite boring. No posh living. Doesn't have a huge campus.
The college timings at UVCE Bangalore can vary slightly depending on the specific department or program. However, here's a general overview of the typical schedule:
Regular College Days:
Additional Considerations:
Note: It's always best to check the official UVCE website or contact the college directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information on their timings. They may have specific announcements or changes to the schedule.
You Cannot Get Admission to UVCE with JEE Mains Score Alone
Unfortunately, you cannot secure admission to UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering) based solely on your JEE Mains percentile of 91 because:
* UVCE primarily considers KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) scores for admissions to its undergraduate engineering programs.
* JEE Mains scores are not considered for direct admission to UVCE.
If you are interested in studying at UVCE, you should focus on preparing for the KCET exam. It is the primary entrance exam for admissions to government engineering colleges in Karnataka, including UVCE.
I hope this information helps.
