The VVIT admission process for undergraduate courses is based on the candidate's performance in the higher secondary examination. The candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidates shall then sit in the counselling sessions(TNEA) conducted by Anna University, TN. The admission process for postgraduate courses is based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test– TANCET. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field and shall clear the entrance exam cutoff to meet the VVIT eligibility criteria. A 5% relaxation is given to reserved category students.
Candidates shall browse the Anna University website and register after completing their respective exams.
The University then releases a merit list with shortlisted candidates.
The candidate shall then take the counselling sessions.
Upon selection of suitable courses and payment of fees to the University, the admission process is complete.
