Yes the college has all the necessary equipments and has a good infrastructure. There are plenty of labs with all the facilities needed. There is wifi in the hostels and in the library. The library is open till 12

There are extremely qualified teachers and the faculty is very experienced. Almost everyone is a PhD holder. There are 2 academic blocks of 8 floors each. The quality of teaching is very good and grades are on the basis of relative grading

There is a guaranteed placement for everyone with a cgpa above 7.5. Being part of the various car teams boosts your CV . There are many workshops which will be useful for students of every branch. Overall placements are good and have a good initial payment

The fees are high in my opinion. Although there are many qualities which make the college a pretigious one it is not worth the high fees. There are plenty of instances which make us feel like the college is very money oriented

Campus life is the poorest part of the college experience . With unreasonable intimes for both the college gate and hostel it really prevents you from enjoying . Although there are restaurants inside campus the resistance for students to go out is high.

Overall the college is a good one in the academic point of view and regarding placements. But if you want to have a good city life i would recommend not staying in the hostels as it has unreasonable timings

Yes,I like the infrastructure I being a civil engineering student observe the structures of buildings,I think the same modelof structure for every building in my campus earns it an aesthetic look.The campus is clean and tidy 24/7.There is a lot of space given to us to perform and showcase our talents,place to put on hands and implement our interest and ideas.Free wifi is provided.Coming to the food,it is a true mashup of all the north and south Indian recipes.There is a chance to change mess !

Coming to the academic point of view,the FFCS procedure gives us all the chances to fly away with colours in every semester.Sometimes we feel like assignments and others things consume our time.But I say that we have to make time for own interests.I being a fresher did not find that time yet,but am sure will find it.THE quality of teaching depends completely on our choice of teachers that we make in the procedure of FFCS prior to the commencement of the semester.the think the curriculum is good

When an opportunity knocks at your door,we should grab it,else it just slips away at the doorstep or through the window.Hence,thegetting into the crowd of getting a seat in placement and also achieving it is a difficult task.we are modified and moulded to get placed in professional companies With high amount packages.Almost,everyone get placed ,but a few branch students are not appliicable for the above,where chances are just negligible to get into their own stream companies.Everthing rely on u

I being a fresher cannot or make any assumption that there is a lot of value towads money,I cannot conclude that without knowing the complete story.But ,I just don’t like the category system that takes place at the time of counselling.That just takes a few minutes,But later,it is the most significant and the consequences are just ?.Some people may feel elated,it may also throw a bolt from the blue for others I try to Make the full efforts to make worthy of the money being spent on my studies!!!!

There are seperate food stalls, tiny mart ,gym,sport equipment provided,ground to play,versatile clubs to get into and enrich ourselves ,our talents,our interests.,good places to spend with friends,good places where you can stay aloof from all too.It is an evergreen campus with good plantations(plants ,trees).A library with number of books ,digitised tablesin library,discussion rooms.We can experience the true call ,true senses of nature.At length ,if we love the place we live in,we like everyth

The Academic Blocks are clean and well maintained. The have all necessary equipment's and labs, which are enough if the faculty manages it. In the classrooms, there are whiteboards, blackboards, projectors. Hostels have free WIFI, gymnasiums. You could borrow anything from the sports centre, and return it later on. The libraries are air conditioned, and has all necessary books.

I am B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. Basically, I am into automobile stuff, so I chose this stream. Considering the quality of study, not everything will be taught in classrooms, you'll have to learn most things on your own. The curriculum is updated and keeps updating with time.

VIT doesn't have many placements for Mechanical Engineers, but you are always free to steal other jobs. Last year, the highest package was 40lakh/annum, and was given to an ECE department student. Very few companies visit the Chennai campus, but of course, you could visit the Vellore Campus anytime.

Paying 2 lakh/annum feels quite high already (although that's the minimum fee). It would've been worth in case it covered all the aspects(which it doesn't). We have a lot of other fee to be taken care of.

College provides a lot of opportunities to interact with people from all over the country. Students can engage in almost any activity they want. Considering the support provided by staffs, its very minimal(there are exceptions). The location of the college is in outer Chennai, so the nearest mall, is at least half hour far.

It has literally everything a college student would expect.There are 3 hostels,each of them are good and maintained well.Classrooms are regularly cleaned and are sufficient enough for the students.All the Labs have the latest equipments and the library is one of the finest I've ever seen

The staff are well dedicated and work to set global standards and making the students technologically advanced and ethically strong. The student welfare committee also works closely with the students council body regularly.

As far I know,the college has always been a consistent topper for several years in the list of campus placement records amount private institutions of India,students are also undertaking internships at various R&Ds all over the world.

College has a very decent infrastructure. Nature and surrounding is a very pleasant. College has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Library have all necessary equipment. Library have latest collection of books and study materials. Living space is clean and food is hygienic.

Academics in this college is best in the entire state. I am currently pursuing bachelors degree in computer science and engineering as it is most demanded branch and heightst placement goes to this branch. Quality of teaching is very good hear. Current curculum is very much updated and includes almost all the recent developments in the field.

Quality of placement in this college is top class. Most of the top and reputed companies visit college for requirements drives. Highest package goes to computer science and engineering branch. On around 40-50% students are placed every year through campus drives with an average package of 4-5 lacks per annum. College is very supportive in placement.

Every year I paid across 1 lacks and I think that I don't feel my money getting worth because the condition of the teaching and campus as like food, sports and other things all are better than other colleges.

The college life are as like haven and teachers lactures are easily understandable and all staff support always.

Good, well built infrastructure, campus have many buildings, whole campus is like 250 acres, labs will be updated everytime, air conditioned labs and classrooms, hostel are well occupied. Libraries are well developed there is digital library is also there

Excellent in academics, all. The professors are well knowledgeable and provides a very good teaching to students,. All the syllabus are updated upto current technological trends.students will learn the things which will be useful to that subject and even future of that subject

Provide good dream offer companies placements and with min 5lpa per annum to 50lp placements. There is a policy in college every one will get placed, placement will be 100 percent. Students will be evenwell trained for placement

Yes ..it has , Each classes has a projector which are common these days and got a massive library and laboratories are installed with branded Pcs and each people has got their own credentials so that they could use it for both wifi and login purpose.

I am doing computer science engineering and the way they teach is really good and moreover each students in there got the privilege of selecting their own time tables which is unlikely happening in any other colleges.they keep updating the syllabus year by year such that current batch gets a better knowledge than the previous batch.most of the assignments they provide are subject oriented which gives wider knowledge on the thing they learn.

They have divided placements into three categories .. 1.super dream offer 2.dream offer 3.offer..Each categories has a package limit like...super dream offer(20-25L) per annum etc..almost every people are employed except people having backlogs

The college provides maximum opportunities for students in there and more over each students gets a chance to exhibit their own talents

The infrastructure is better than many colleges in India. So I would definitely give a thumbs up for these guys of the infrastructure management. U have a big auditorium that can accommodate around 2000 members.

Some of the professors are really good here. But there are some who don't even know the basic fundamentals her. I had a physics professor ( don't wanna mention his name) he used to come to class mugging physics.. Even the way he corrected the paper was not based on the answers we wrote but purely based on our behaviour towards him. He didn't much known that he used to give less mark even if the answer was near to perfect....( As we verified it with other professors) .

Lot of good companies come to the campuses but the number of people who get place there are extremely less as compared to the huge population. But wanna join a company for the intention of getting married to a girl, you'll most probably place among the mass recruiters( hcl, tcs .etc).

Not exactly. But u can keep this as a final option of u don't get any descent College.

The friends u get here are extremely good. U have a huge diversity of Indian population here. U will get a great insight of it if u actively interact with them.

All necessary facilities are available in the campus for the use of students and faculty, labs are mostly well equipped with necessary instruments. Students are allowed to work on the computers and instruments with prior permissions. One can make the best use out of these.

The quality of teaching is extremely subjective and can't be labelled as good or bad. The curriculum is definitely at par with the competition. The quality comes down to the faculty, and definitely almost all faculty are well qualified, and some take real concern towards making people learn. The students are also given choice to choose the order of subjects and the faculty along with the time giving good options for comfortable learning from a good source. There aare also a lot of electives too

Although I haven't gone through placements, heard a lot of words on opportunity from many places even some of the big shot companies come to hire people from here but definitely it all comes down to how well one has trained to work in a place of his field.

The fee depends on the rank scored by the student the fees ranges from nearly 2 lacs and higher (one lac increase each categort ) As long as the student does well and lands in first category it js pretty good in terms of value for money

There is enough spots for rest and study, although some times some hotspots might be a little crowded.

Definitely people would prefer IIT, NIT or BITS but if the good ones among them are not available VIT is a great spot almost equally good
