-> There are good placements and nice salary package offers.Highest salary package was 41.6 lpa ,around 90% of students were placed. -> Average package was 7.3 lpa and nearly 700 companies visited VIT.
->Cost per year varies with the type of course.
-> As of now, it's good and there is more development happening. -> There are many clubs and activities to be engaged ->It's totally safe.
-> I suggest that this college can give us what we want.
Coming to infrastructure, three hostel blocks(one fr girls, two for boys),only cse labs will have A/Cs,library of three storeys?,well equipped laboratories, have many sports clubs, smart classes for almost every branch,.though campus is small when compared to that of vellore one but u can feel that pleasant atmosphere with limited crowd, fun activities, clib events, ambience of campus is really good hygienic and peacefull..new constructed 'Gymkhana'(which has gym, dominos, family restaurant, chai galli..
currently iam pursuing my btech 1st yr civil....yes my academics include all recent developments in field...u can also grab enough skill nd knowledge from what ever u choose through its fully flexible credit system...appropriate place to chase ur passion!
.............you can see iam still 1st yr,dont have enough knowledge about this,as i didnt come through this yet!..mostly think that civil people will have tough pase to get placed but i saw many of my seniors got placed who are from civil branch......some of them in core and some of them in software sectors
yes only if u use every opportunity correctly with interest and zeal.participating in extra curricular activities is more helpful for ur personality development and peccular identity..then u can embrace actual flavour of ur academics
what ever the rules it has iam very happy with them though sometimes annoyed!..outing from mon-fri with simple outing card(sat nd sun u need parents approval!),in time for everyone is 6:00 PM,hostel intime 7:00PM for girls and 9:00 PM for boys. boys and girls can roam, chit chat, play but are not allowed to exceed limits...which i feel kind of fair! ...most important thing NO RAGGING ..we can have very friendly relations with seniors too academically!
You can get every kind of facilities. Mess food is not that good but you will like it. For rooms, 2 bed and 4 bed are spacious and 3 bed is little conjusted. Wifi is good, you will get 50 gb per month and speed is 450 kbps constant. In library you will get every kind of research papers and articles.
I don't know about other branches but CIVIL branch is better than I expected. Civil teachers are good in there subjects. You will find every teacher interesting. All teachers are well aware of recent developments.
I still don't know much about placement offers. But according to some of the senior students, they say placements are good for those who have good cgpa like above 9.0. In civil the highest placement offer of batch 2016-2019 was 11 lakhs.
The infrastructure includes well designed buildings and furnished campus with greenery all around with Amazing facilities like restaurants and a shopping mart. The hostels are hygienic and the rooms are comfortable too
Teachers here hold doctorate degrees and some are pursuing it. Quality of education is well acknowledged here as the teachers are interested in project work which gives us an insight to the technologies.
Being in the first year i dont have that much idea about placements , however the upcoming batch has gotten the pre placement offer with a highest of 42 LPA and nearly 10-15 above 25 lpa. But many MNC'S visit our campus and recruit the students with a well established package
The admission is divided into categories based on your individual VITEEE rank. Every category has a different admission fee and it varies with the branch too. If you get in category one or two ,its decently good
We have medical facilities ,hostel facilities , supermarket , restaurants (dominos too) ,various other places to hang out with friends and have a great time. The library is 4storeyed with almost every book and genre. Though it is away from the Chennai city but a campus size of 190 acres makes it home and malls and restaurants in vicinity makes it apt
If you are looking forward to a good private college you must pounce upon it if you have a good rank. Though it is strict with in times and especially with girls ,it is also an amazing place and learn and chance to grow
The infrastructure is really good. Vit has a huge infrastructure. Vit has so many blocks within. And it also has courts and ground for sports. Vit also have several auditoriums where the students can express their talents.
The quality of teaching is really good. Vit has several faculties for teaching. The lectures at Vit is really good and understanding. Vit even has softskills which is very useful for attending many interviews. Vit also provides opportunity to do internships which in turn useful for student's job placements.
I have not yet completed my graduation. So I don't have any idea of placements. But I have asked my seniors. And they told that the placements are given based on their CGPA. But their is a guarantee for the placements.
For me it is 1,73,000 per year. And it is worth it when compared to other colleges.
I really love my college campus. It is huge and green. The students are very friendly. We have students from different states with different culture. So the students have a nice collaboration among them. The faculties are really supportive and kind to the students and overall the faculties encourages the students.
Vit is a place to learn and chance to grow. Vit gives a great job opportunity. The faculties at Vit are really good in teaching and they encourages the students. Vit is a place with a very good infrastructure. There are also several clubs like music, dance, drama and etc which gives the students to express their talents. Vit is a green campus. The hostels are also really good. Over all Vit is very good choice for getting our graduation.I am really proud to be a VITian.
The labs are upto date for all subjects with adequate apparatus. There is a rich digital library available along with books on all subjects. Hostels are clean and hygienic and offer various options depending on your choice- AC or Non AC; 2, 3 or 4 bedded rooms; Veg, Non veg or Special mess.
CSE curriculum is upto date with new technologies like Machine learning, Artificial intelligence and IoT. Mandatory clubs, internships, soft skills classes make you future ready and add a cherry on your resume.0
The highest package this year was offered by Microsoft with a CTC of 42 lpa. Other super dream companies that visited the campus included Amazon, PayPal, Cisco and DEShaw. The average package across all branches is around 7-8 lpa.
The course costs around 1.7 to 2 lakhs depending on the course you take. The ROI is very good as the average package across all branches is around 7-8 lpa.
While there are some stringent rules for girls regarding in timings and outings, the campus life is quite decent. 2 fests are organised every year and many club events, talent hunts, etc take place round the year for your all round growth.
short description of infrastructure:-state of art infrastructure ,central library,two academic blocks,main block building,in-campus restaurant(chai gully),gym,swiming pool(soon),4 canteens,4 hostel blocks(3-boys,1-girls),cricket ground&nets,volley ball court-2,football ground(7's&11's),handball court,hockey ground,Main auditorium(others in academic block,2 in each),amphitheatre-3,tennis court,basketball court,badmiton court,table tennis hall. many more.
quality of teaching depends from one faculty to another. But,as a whole the teaching is good.they are very supportive for research.currently,i am pursuing mechanical engineering.personally, the materials, machines and forces in nature really fascinated me, and i also a physics lover.so, i chose mechanical engineering. Also,it is the core branch, where as CSc and other computer related branches can be learnt easily as compared to mechanical.
the placements are really good, except few branches like mechanical, civil and fashion(since it was started 4 yrs ago).in most engineering colleges the placement scenario for these courses is same.whereas, placements for CSc,ECE,ECM,EEE are really good.we have dream and super dream placements, where dream companies like microsoft, amazon, paypal and samsung recruit the students.this year highest package is 41.6 lacs from microsoft.
it is worth for money.the fees structure totally depends on you.your tuition fee is based on your VITEEE rank.if u get a good rank(under30k)you will get admission under category -1,for which the tuition fee is around 2 lakh/year as the category increases 2...3....4..5 your fee increases.
the campus life is the best of all.if your a hosteller you will have a great campus life.yuo can meet any people from various different location of the country, also from the globe.we have different clubs ,which conducts different events throughtout the year.
VIT is a place to learn ,a chance to grow.you can meet many talented people who are experts in different fields from academics, music, dance and sports.it is also a great opprurtunity to bring out a new skill in you.personally, ilearnt many different skills after coming here.
the college infrastructure is excellent, all around the college and with the othere colllege infrastructure. we have wifi facilites all over the campus and wifi is completely free and classrooms are fully facilitated. It has new tables and chairs good facilities in labs and moreover the class are completely air conditioned.
Academics are well good. We have good teachers who understands the students, their capability and necessity. THey are good at making the students understand the topics. The curriculum is not updated recently but it is not that old curriculum, We are not having such hard syllabus for the studies.
The number of placement in the college is high than other private institutions of similar type. the package obtained for the graduates are almost the average of the college placement package rather for our course.
I felt the college fees is well more than the required but we have enough facilities. We have an excellent library with all the facilities and thousands of books, and the library remains open24 hours. The campus is also well developed there is no space in the campus where the hands havent reached. Also the teaching and teachers are also in good interaction with the students.
Campus life is good. we have a lot of space to roam around. I usually go with my friends for campus touring when we are free and less tight schedule is found. There are a lot of areas in the campus yet to be visited as the campus is large. we also have all shoping and fooding facilities in the campus itself.
Yes, this college has all the necessary infrastructure. Three hostels(Block-A, B, C) are there. All the hostel buildings have a gym, sufficient no of rooms and washrooms with well-maintained cleanliness. Each block has its own mess which provides clean and hygienic food but of poor taste. Sufficient well-maintained classrooms, each having projectors, speakers and wifi connectivity. There is sufficient no of labs according to the necessity of the course. A swimming pool is opening soon.
I am studying electronics and communication engineering. The quality of teaching varies from faculty to faculty. But the overall teaching is good. Yes, the curriculum is kept updated according to the recent developments happening in the electronics & communication field. Basically, if you are attentive in-class hours then you don't have to study much for the exams because most of the teachers teach us in exam point of view.
According to me, placements are very good for computer science students. But for other branches, it's not that good. For other branches also have to study programming properly to get placed in a good company. Around 80% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered till now is 41 LPA and it is for a computer science student. In my knowledge, the average salary is 4-5 lakh. The placement process here is easy but not that pleasant.
For tuition fees only I pay 1,98000 per year which is I think a very large amount of money. No, I don't think I am getting my money's worth. Because I don't think, the quality of education they are giving is worth 1,98000 per year.
The campus has sufficient well maintained, international size playground is available. A full green campus with 2 big auditorium for cultural, annual function and for all indoor sports. A swimming pool and a large size modern gym are work on progress. Shops include Domino's Pizza, Chai Galli, Gazebo's, shopping mart, big multi-cuisine canteen. Support staffs are good. Location is pretty good for a study environment but very far from the main markets. You have to travel a lot for goods.
If you want a good campus life spending a large amount of money then you are welcome.
