ligibility for MBBS Admission in India :

  • Students should have cleared 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology & Botany).
  • Student must be an Indian National for admission through All India Entrance Exam (NEET).
  • Student should be 17+ as on 31st December of the year of admission.

After class 12, it’s crucial to start preparing for three competitive entrance examinations: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), All India Institute of Medical Sciences for MBBS (AIIMS MBBS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER MBBS) entrance exams.

MBBS Admission in India

Medical Education in India is provided by the Recognized Medical Colleges in India (https://www.metaeducationindia.com/mbbs-in-india/) . All Institutions must have recognition by Medical Council of India Act. MBBS is known as Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery. Institutions offering MBBS Course (https://www.metaeducationindia.com/mbbs-in-india/) in its syllabus are referred to as Medical Colleges. This course has curriculum with the basic and Para- Clinical Subjects like- Anatomy, Bio-Chemistry, Pathology, Physiology, Medicine and Pharmacology. It is a four and half years program and one year internship for students as per guideline by WHO.

Since 2004, the Hebbal Veterinary College has been affiliated with the Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University.

There are 11 seats available under the 15% All India Quota, with 7 seats for general applicants, 1 for UR PH, 2 for SC candidates, and 1 for ST candidates.

It does not have management quotas because it is a government entity. For all candidates, the price structure is roughly INR 60,000 to 70,000 per year.

Hebbal Veterinary College, Bengaluru is a government veterinary college which is very reputed veterinary college all over India. It was established in 1958.

So basically to get admission into this college, you need to give Kcet and try to score good rank in it. You must get approx more than 60% to get this college. You can give Kcet after completing your 12th class from a recognized board.

yes, In Veterinary colleges NRI seats are available  and are available in both private and government BVSc colleges.

Among 43 government colleges currently 47 institutions in India offer veterinary courses.

There are 15% All India Quota and 85% State quota like MBBS.

For Veterinary colleges, the minimum marks in NEET are 350+ for General category .

Admission are on merit  basis, as per your last qualifying exam. So, around 6-8 lakh is the B.V. Sc. course fees (excluding additional charges) per annum for Management Quota, depending on the institution/ University.

As you mentioned your rank, You have scored 3266 in KCET which is pretty good rank. You have a high chances of getting veterinary seat.

The cut-off for general category students is 50% whereas for other categories it is 45%. However, your rank is good enough to secure a seat through KCET to a veterinary science course. According to previous years cut-offs, the rank for in-house students is closed around 1200. You have a very high chance of getting veterinary through KCET.

Veterinary college in Hebbal is one of the famous reputed veterinary college in Bengaluru. The college is popularly known as veterinary college Bengaluru. This college is affiliated to Karnataka veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, B idar.

You can get admission veterinary college getting a good rank in KCET . To keep yourself in a safer zone, you must score at least 60% score in KCET (PCB ). yes , the university offers management quota for which annual fee is between 6 and 8 lakhs and the minimum eligibility criteria is s that candidate must have completed 10 2 from recognized board.

General  691 to 119 marks

OBC/SC/ST 118 to 96 marks

UR-PH 106 to 96 marks

The college offers three cousres namely BVSc,AH,MVSc and PhD.

Hi.

The minimum marks required to hold a rank in KCET is 12 out of 50. The cutoff rank will be different for each college, stream and round of counselling. Depending on what subject you wish to pursue and from where you wish to pursue it.

Also, a cutoff rank is base don various factors such as students participating, seat availability, relative interest in a particular branch etc. so the cutoff for 2021 KCET cannot be predicted as such.
