Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in English is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent Examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1st Semester of the three-year B. A. (Honours) Course with 60% in Aggregate with at least 60% in English and for SC/ST 40% in Aggregate or 40% in Subjects or related subjects.

College Infrastructure

The college is more than a century old and is divided in two buildings in the campus, the old one is lacking in infrastructure but the new one is quite good where most of the classes are taken . It's filled with numerous classrooms , labs and a big library. As for the cleanliness it's very clean and hygienic , all the rooms are regularly cleaned and broomed , the bathroom is well maintained.
