Yes in my college has all the benefits , has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. In my college classrooms have smart boards and free wifi and also has a central library and everything are well maintained . Living spaces and the food are fully hygienic.
I was studying bsc botany Hons due to love for plants and the quality of teaching is very good. Yes my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The faculty members of my college is very good.

The academic infrastructure at Vijaygarh Jyotish Roy College is commendable. The classrooms are well-equipped with modern technology to facilitate effective learning. The library, a cornerstone of academic resources, boasts an extensive collection of books, journals, and research materials. The serene and conducive environment makes it an ideal space for focused study and research. However, a slight expansion of the library's digital resources could further enhance accessibility.
Vijaygarh Jyotish Roy College maintains a high standard of academics. The faculty members are knowledgeable and dedicated, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The curriculum is comprehensive, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Regular assessments and examinations ensure continuous evaluation, contributing to a holistic academic experience. The college's commitment to academic excellence reflects in the overall growth and development of its students.
When evaluating a college's placement opportunities, consider factors such as the college's placement record, tie-ups with companies, on-campus recruitment drives, alumni success stories, and career guidance services. You may also want to inquire about any internship programs or industry collaborations that the college offers to enhance students' practical exposure.
The necessary infrastructures like the canteen, laboratories and library are there, more of it like a games room can be included though. Also the laboratories need to be upgraded. The rest rooms should be made a bit more hygienic. Drinking water here is absolutely fine. Also all the post graduate courses lack in this college, only the microbiology department has it. Other departments should also have post graduate courses.
I am in the zoology department. I must say each and every professor or lecturer of my department are excellent. Rather the complete science department, like the chemistry, microbiology, botany, physics have got excellent faculties. I do not know about the rest. But seems they have nice faculties too.
There is a placement cell that offers job to the students, but I have not heard many of them getting jobs from there. Also finding a job after graduation is a bit difficult. So I will say the placement cell will get upgraded with the introduction of post graduate courses in the college.
This is a government college. Thus the fees for each and every course is very affordable. We only have to pay the fees once in 6 months and that ranges between 3000-4000. For the courses that do not have laboratory usage, the fees is lesser.
The campus is good. No ragging by the seniors. No one bothers your peace. There are many trees around the campus, which will make you feel good. Also the campus is quite disciplined. No fights in the campus. Also we celebrate different festivals and conduct various programs within the campus.
