Admission to these courses is only given based on merit derived from 10+2 scores with differing seat capacities for each program, ranging from 55 to 73.

B.Com. Programs: Vivekananda College offers B.Com. General and B.Com. Accountancy Honours. Selection is made on merit, whereas the B.Com. Accountancy Honours program has 391 seats available, and the general B.Com. program permits 244 students.

M.A. Programs: These postgraduate programs will allow students to study for an M.A. in Bengali and History. Admission is based on merit in the relevant bachelor's degree. Each program has 50 seats.

M.Sc. Programs: Vivekananda College runs M.Sc. Zeblology and Physics. Admission is based on B.Sc. follow up. The number of seats in M.Sc. in Zoology is 20, and in Physics is 25.

Vivekananda college thakurpukur is one of the good Honours colleges in Kolkata. This is affiliated with university of Calcutta.bachelor of science Honours in environmental science is a three years degree course.

They doesn't conduct any entrance examination the admission is is made basis on the marks. The charges about 2000 rupees per semester.
