No data provided by the college for admission procedure for the latest year
VRS College of Engineering and Technology, located in Villupuram, runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering disciplines under the umbrella of the university. Admission procedures are quite organized keeping in mind the selection of deserving candidates into various programs offered at the college. Undergraduate admission is undertaken generally by the TNEA entrance test under Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, whereas all the admissions concerning postgraduate studies are taken on the basis of the TANCET score.
The admission cycle corresponds to the academic cycle whereby applications usually open in the months just before the commencement of the academic session. The counseling process for the undergraduate programs through TNEA begins mostly soon after the declaration of results for the 12th standard in Tamil Nadu. There seems to be a similar pattern for TANCET postgraduate admissions where TANCET was held almost in the first half of the year. Undergraduate eligibility generally maintains that students finish 10+2 in the tradition of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as cores; for a master's program, a relevant bachelor's degree in engineering is usually insisted upon.
The college accepts the scores from TNEA for BE/B.Tech admissions and TANCET for ME/M.Tech admissions. These entrance exams measure how knowledgeable candidates are in subjects related to their area of interest.
