Entrance Exams for Avionics
At Undergraduate Level
Students can pursue Avionics at an undergraduate level by pursuing a Bachelor's degree like B.Tech in Avionics as the specialisation. Just like other Bachelor's degree engineering courses, B.Tech in avionics is also a four-year course. Students are provided with an in-depth knowledge of electrical and electronic systems. During this course, various subjects of the avionics field are taught to the students, and the entire syllabus is divided into eight semesters.
To get admission to the avionics course students are required to clear their relevant entrance exams according to various criteria. So, below is the list of some entrance exams:
JEE Advanced is a Joint Entrance Exam which is a national-level entrance exam that is conducted annually.
BITSAT, also known as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test, is an online entrance exam that is conducted online.
SRMJEEE- SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is an online entrance exam conducted annually.
Students can go for pursuing Avionics at a postgraduate level by pursuing a master's degree like M.Tech with avionics as the specialisation. Just like other master's degree engineering courses, M.Tech in avionics is also a two-year course. Students are provided with in-depth knowledge about the various components of the aeronautical and business management field. During this course, various specialised subjects along with practicals and lab experiments related to the avionics field are taught to the students. The entire syllabus is divided into four semesters.
Students who have completed their Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, electrical sciences, or any other related specialisation can opt for master's courses. There are also entrance exams at this level and below is the list of the exams:
GATE The Graduate Aptitude Test, is a major entrance exam for engineering students to get admission into the master's courses.
