You must participate in TNEA Counseling, which is held by Anna University, if you are applying for undergraduate programmes like BE or B. Tech. The admissions procedure at Anna University is handled by TNEA, which is the counselling process. The merit obtained in the 12th grade is used to determine admission to BE and B. Tech programmes. Participating Institutions in TNEA Counseling total 563. Although TNEA is primarily for applicants who meet the nativity requirements, some seats are also given to applicants from outside Tamil Nadu. This amount is roughly 50. Forms for the TNEA have not yet been made available by the university. You must register online as soon as Anna University makes the online registration process available and show up for counselling.

No. you cannot change your branch to Civil engineering after you have completed diploma in computer science.

students who studied in non cse branches like civil, mech, ece, etc.. can change their branch to computer science in B.E or B.tech.

but, the students of cse in diploma cannot change to other branches like civil, mechanical, etc.. they have only option to change to IT or into any other CSE specialization courses.

As a CSE student in diploma you will have great and more opportunities in software by continuing the same branch in B.E.

there are lot of opportunities for CSE students in software technologies as the technology is increasing day by day.

B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science are co-branches of computer science and engineering. Both will open almost same scopes after completion of the degree. With Artificial Intelligence, you will study about algorithms in Machine learning along with data Science concepts. While in Data Science is more focused on Data analysis and to extract useful information from buch of raw data. The field is more oriented towards data scientist.

Anna University is a government college in Tamil Nadu, which was established in 1978. It offers courses on B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Arch, M.Arch and Doctoral (Ph.d). It is good college with decent placement records. But you need to do hardwork in this college, as sometimes giant industry companies like Amazon and Mahindra do visits the college.

According to your marks obtained in the Tamilnadu National engineering admission  test of examination is 189. According to the Previous years cutoff there is a chance for you to get computer science engineering features cut off marks 183. For mechanical engineering it was 194.25, for civil 179.. As you are SC category student and marks in entrance examination 189 there is a great charge for taking admission in Anna University Engineering science or other courses admission.

The cut-off for the academic year 2022 has not been released yet; candidates can refer to the previous year’s cut-off to understand the trend. Candidates willing to get admission to Anna University please note that the cut-off will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for all category candidates.

In 1944, the University of Madras' A. C. College of Technology established the department of chemical engineering. The department was moved to the unitary-style Anna University, which had just been established, in September 1978. The department, which began with a course in chemical engineering at the undergraduate level, now offers courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in chemical, petrochemicals, and environmental science and technology.

Candidates must successfully complete an exam at the 10+2 level or an equivalent with a minimum of 50% overall and PCM as required subjects. Visit the TNEA website to fill out an online application for the BE/B.Tech and B.Arch programs provided by Anna University. Documents will then be verified at the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs).
