BRABU Muzaffarpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University has a central library to aid the educational needs of the students, scholars and the faculty members. The institute has a plethora of books, journals, newspapers, and magazines to provide the students with proper material for education. There are books for all the courses in the institute. In addition to that, there are also general books to increase general awareness and read other literature. Also, the central library is well-built with reading rooms.

The BRABU has proper grounds and types of equipment to conduct indoor and outdoor sports activities. The grounds are maintained well. Students can practice and play basketball, cricket, athletics, football, hockey, badminton, volleyball among other sports. Indoor sports are also facilitated with proper pieces of equipment. This ensures that the students are exposed to the proper sports environment and they can focus on their all-round growth and not only education. There are also intra-college and inter-college competitions that take place regularly to test students’ skills and award the deserving students.

To ensure that the students get practical and hands-on experience, proper technical facilities are provided in terms of laboratories. The students can gather as much on-field knowledge as possible through the carefully conducted experiments under the supervision of a learned faculty. Therefore, the students can apply the knowledge that they get theoretically and can gather more from it. The labs are therefore equipped with all the modern machinery and other equipment in the best condition. They are also maintained regularly.

The BRABU also has a large and spacious auditorium. The auditorium comes with a plethora of modern audiovisual equipment that is required for the proper conduct of all the events. All the seminars, workshops, presentations and cultural events take place in the auditorium. Because of this, the auditorium has a decent housing space to accommodate the maximum students for any events.

To ensure that the students’ health is maintained and that they are exposed to all the facilities, the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University also has a gymnasium along with the indoor sports facility. The gymnasium has all the prosper modern pieces of equipment which are kept in a good condition. The interested students can get a subscription to the gym and can use it accordingly. The subscription to the gym is provided at a nominal fee which is lesser than that of other gyms.

To keep hunger at bay, the institute also comes with cafeteria and canteen shops on the campus. These are open for all members of staff, faculty and the students. In addition to the mess, students have an option to eat here. The food is prepared from a variety of cuisines and is provided at a nominal price. The cafeteria is kept hygienic and clean by regular cleaning. It also has a good seating space to accommodate a large group of people at once. This ensures that many students are not left waiting for their turns. 

Hostel facilities have been provided for male students. The hostels are well-equipped with all the modern amenities to ensure that the students have a comfortable stay. They are assisted with a mess facility. The students can accordingly opt for the mess facility while they’re registering for the hostels itself. Generally, the hostels are limited and the students are given a seat based on the first come first serve policy. Therefore, if you wish to opt for the hostels it is recommended that you register as soon as possible. The mess provides safe, hygienic and healthy food. The quality of the mess standards is checked regularly to maintain it. Additionally, the rooms are also cleaned regularly to ensure the child’s hygiene.

Hostel facilities have been provided for girl students. Hostels are well-equipped with all the modern amenities to ensure that the students have a comfortable stay. Hostel accommodation is given on the first come first serve basis, so feamle students who are interested in availing the hostel facilities, should register for it as soon as possible. There is also a mess facility that provides hygenic and healthy food.
