Of course you are totally eligible to write ICAR exam.

Icar have 74 agricultural universities. Icar has entrusted the task of conducting entrance examination to national testing agency. ICAR AIEEA is an all India entrance exam for various agriculture universities to get admission to 15% seats for bachelor degree in agriculture. It is conducted online mode and the questions will be multiple choice type. Candidates who have passed 12th with more than 50% marks from a recognised board are eligible to apply. You don't need to have Biology as a compulsory subject but along with the chemistry and physics you should have Biology or Mathematics. Since you are a pcmb student you are completely eligible for icar examination.

Stream A has three sections - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Architecture. If you have a clear idea about the fundamentals of these subjects then you can easily score decent marks with a few days of preparation. there is no need for you to prepare like neet examination. It only contains questions from NCERT textbook hence it is very important for you to be thorough with NCERT textbook of all the subjects.

As long as you are much familiar with the NCERT textbook it will be so easy for you to qualify the exam all the best.

Thank you.

Dear aspirant,

As you have scored well in class 10th and 12th so you would get full points after cracking cat in your interview round. So, as per my view you need to score atleast 97-98+ percentile in your cat .

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like -

  • Number of candidates appearing in the examination.
  • Number of vacant seats in college.
  • Previous years cut offs.
  • Difficulty level of the paper.

To get admission into IIMs you must have completed Graduation from a recognised University and must have valid CAT score.

As you have not mentioned your Caste Category, I'm considering it and providing information based on it. To be on safe side it's better to get CAT score around 95+ to get the top most IIMs in India.

Selection Process:

  • Valid CAT score
  • Group Discussion
  • Written Ability Test
  • Personal Interview - It's been conducted Virtual due to Covid scenario by many Institutions.

Dear aspirant,

Looking at your grades let me tell you that you need to keep your percentile at a higher side because that would benefit in your interview.

If you were to take my opinion to crack top iims you need to keep your percentile atleast 99.5+ to get top BLACKI iims. However it also depends lastly how well you prepare for your interview.

Hello,

You have scored well and you have fair chances of getting seat in Government Colleges, based on previous year's cut-offs.But cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

---> Caste Category of the students

---> Number of students appeared in the exam

---> Difficulty level of the exam

---> Number of seats available, etc.

Hello aspirant

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that  rather than thinking much about the counselling you should focus on the theory part of entrance . But for knowledge , I aware you that counselling is done to allot the seats to students of all over states accroding to cut off of particular college . Counsellings are held in several rounds and followed by spot round . Those students who do not allot any seats or who want to upgrade participate in next rounds and spot rounds

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

You academic profile is very average and most liekly despite having work experience you wont likely to get shortlisted for the BLACKI. However you can try a shot for the new and baby IIMs. Thatswhy I should suggest you to get some work experience first. Them after 4-5 years doing MBA would be a better option.

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Haave a great day!
