IISER Bhopal class is awesome and worth the fee you are paying. There are air conditioned classrooms having smart boards. Wi-Fi facilities are available for the students both in the college campus and the hostel. The food in the hostel is good and too many items are included in the menu.
Teaching methods in IISER Bhopal is very ineligible and friendly The staff is always ready to guide the students and motivate them to succeed in their lives. They always strive for creating and providing ideas and opportunities for the students growth and the curriculum is also up to date.
The highest package is 14 Lacs per annum. The average salary is 5 lacs per year. Around 75% of the students were placed last year in IISER Bhopal. The placements provided to students are very good and helpful for them at the top MNC.
Yes college is value for money.
Campus Life is good.
Nothing
The infrastructure of this college is good. There is also a smart board in the classroom. There is also a sports ground where students play sports like volleyball and football. The food in the cafeteria is also hygienic.
I am done p.hd in economics..Since I was interested in economics, I thought of becoming a professor after doing PhD and I liked this college for PhD. There are great professors here who have a lot of knowledge. And teaches very well.
The quality of placement in my college very good. Minimum 85% are compulsory to attend and to sit the interview in company. The highest salary package offered so far is Rs 30 lakh per annum. And the placement process because their teachers are support in placement.
Yes this college is value for money.
The college has an appropriate quality and standard of infrastructure, and equipment and has state-of-the-art facilities in terms of libraries and scientific equipment. The living spaces are crammed and leave a person desiring for more, a problem which is exasserbate by cramming multiple students into a singular room. The food is nothing to remember, but at there are a few cheap options near by (which is absolutely necessary)
I did my BSMS in Biological science, and the quality of teaching is the only saving grace of the institute. As is the case in most places, a handful of faculty are truly the reason you wish to continue in science, and the same is the case even here. The curriculum approach is more focused towards core ideation rather than rote learning which is necessary, but the course diversity leaves a lot to be desired.
The placement cell is functional, which is the only good thing to be said about this. Most appointments (if any) are shallow in terms of future career prospects and leave a bad taste in the mouth if you do not continue for higher degrees in science.
At the time I graduated, the value for money was alright and since it is a government institution, it was accessible to most parties. But as the years go on the fee structure is increasing at an exponential rate, to a point where I truly believe in a year or two it would no longer be worth the price paid.
Students from all walks of life and different cultures made this college a bearable experience. Events and fest made the place in general more vibrant, which was a necessity since the campus is located in the middle of a village, 20km away from the main city.
Fun, but take it with a pinch of salt.
The college has good infrastructure overall. The hostels are equipped with wifi and ethernet ports allowing for good connectivity. The academic buildings and lecture hall complex are well built with proper safety precautions kept in mind.
I was a student of the bachelors and masters programme. For that, we had overall good curriculum which atleast for me, in physics, gave me a good overview of all the different sub categories that helped me choose what i wanted to select for higher studies.
IISER being a research forcused institute, most people who join here are people who want to pursue higher studies. Thus, placements is not something that is heavily focused, however, in recent years, a career and development council has formed to facilitate placements better.
My overal experience has been good and the fees is fairly minimal compared to other institutes such as IITs. Many of the students who arrive here are also given Inspire scholarships by the DST.
Campus life is vibrant, but not as big as IITs. This is primarily because the institute is fairly new compared to other well establised ones. But that being said, the people here are nice and the atmosphere is in general friendly .
The labs and classrooms are good and spacious. There are a lot of academic clubs and cultural clubs which help you to engage in various activities. The hostels are good, but not that spacious . Wi-Fi is available all around the University.
Teaching is nice but students need to learn by themselves as well as ask doubts. Professors are helpful. Courses are predecided but depend on professors a lot regarding how much content can be covered. I believe that putting in some extra effort and doing some online courses to develop your skills will help better in get a good job.
IISER Bhopal does not provide a large number of placement options maybe because most students are willing to do a Ph.D. instead of going to a job. Some students prefer an MBA as well as a Civil Services exam. However, I believe that IISER should increase its placement options as well in all the fields.
You get great facilities at a cost. The campus is beautiful and spacious. Health centers, Grocery stores, and other shops are there to suffice essential needs. Overall a nice place to study and enjoy student life.
IISER Bhopal is a great place to enjoy student life and make good friends.
Overall IISER Bhopal is a good place to study.
The College has a very good infrastructure and there is a extradionary facilities and and the equipments are really avaliable in the college campus and there is a Wifi across the campus and the Smart board is avaliable through out the class.
The Academics are really good in the college. It provide a dual degree and there is lot of staffs with more than ten years of experince and the curriculum is updated and these jobs make you a ready for the future,
Placements are really good and there is a average package of 8 LPA and the courses are really effective to get a job and there is a staff support from both internal and external in the college and the placement process is so simple and easy
As heard from the seniors, the campus is really nice and spacious. It is like a isolated world for those who learn science. Such a healthy environment, well maintained classroom, hostels provided with all basic amenities, wifi facilities. It is a clean living area, separated from the pollution and shines of city, providing a perfect environment to nurture your goals.
I'm currently 2nd year student of BS-MS Natural Science stream, pre majoring in BIO, EES, CHEMISTRY. To my experience, professors are well qualified, and quality of education is soo good. Provided with Teaching Assistant, we got off well with our doubts. Learning with profs , makes us oriented towards our ambitions.
Really don't know much about placement. But as heard, placement cell is held, providing great placement to student. Many people goes with doing PHD in their interest subject as it provides us with better opportunities
It cost around 50k -55k per semester. It is worth the money as gettinh into this college was my ambition and I'm grateful to be a part of IISER.
Since we are the batch, who has never been to campus post pandemic, but heard from the senior, campus life is soo cool and safe, can handle all the emergencies, located closely to hospital and airport. The ideation hut, well maintained libraries, different areas for different clubs, making it a dream come to true , to be there. I am much more fascinated by astronomy club. With the telescope around, it fun to know what's is there in the outer space, and really getting to know thrills me.
IISERB has got all the necessary infrastructure and equipment suited for better research and study purpose. Laboratories are well equipped with modern tools and equipment to give a better hands-on experience and understanding. Classrooms are modern and large to incorporate a good amount of students have a comfortable session. Sports facilities are good and almost every sport has got its place on the campus. WiFi can be found at every corner of the campus and internet bandwidth is also excellent.
I am currently studying BS in Electrical engineering and Computer science under engineering sciences. The quality of teaching is excellent and develops critical and rational thinking. It is research-oriented as well as application-focused studying. The curriculum is quite similar to other national institutes but the extra facility that makes IISERB special is the freedom to choose any department from 3rd year onwards. 1st year is basic and all of us need to study the same courses.
Engineering sciences is a fairly recent introduction in IISERB so no idea about the placements but most of the students prefer to research and pursue PhD after MS. Considering a national institute the placement cell is expected to work well.
It costs about 50K per semester for students just for the fees and mess fee is around 3K per month and the rest is your own expense. For SC/ST tuition fees is exempted which reduces their semester fee to 11K and mess fee remains the same for all people.
The campus is big and there are no restrictions for going out or coming in at any time you can roam around anywhere in the campus at any time and no one will stop you until it is very late (like 3 am).
It's large and environment friendly. You can also watch birds here. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. And also the classrooms are big and contain white boards. There is a ccd in the campus.
Maths and biology rae compulsory for first year student, so come prepared. I joined BS-MS degree for 5 years and hadn't studied maths in class 12th but here it is compulsory to study it in 1st year no matter what.
I'm still in 1st year, so I don't know much about it but as much I heard from alumni and seniors, you also need to get a phD for better placements and all. Though you can do an industrial job after completing the graduation.
Hello aspirant,
I'm assuming you want to study the fundamental sciences. There is no doubt at all that you should enrol in an IIT if you want to study engineering.
In a nutshell, IISERs are organisations that were founded with the goal of advancing India's basic science culture.
Therefore, you should definitely join IISER if you have a passion for conducting research.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you
