Hi Rohit,
Congratulations rohit for scoring such a good rank in jee advance.
Yes, definitely you will get seat in iiser pune, the category rank of reserved category candidates (OBC), should be within 10000. Additional cut-off criteria for marks obtained in 10+2 board examination is also applicable.

Thank you!!

Hello Aspirant,

You haven't mention your category. Different category have different cutoff. According to your question, I'm not tell you the marks but I'm giving you a rough idea that might help you. To get admission in IISER, Pune for 2021-2022 through KVPY 2020 you should score 85% and if you are belong to  SC, ST or PWD category student, you need to score 80%.

To get admission in IISER, Pune for 2021-2022 through JEE 2021, your JEE rank is below than 10K.  To get admission in IISER, Pune for 2021-2022 through MH-CET 2021, you have to score atleast 95%.  To get admission in IISER, Pune for 2021-2022 through MH-BOARD 2021 you have to secure atleast 90-95%.

I hope this information would be useful for you.

All the best for your bright future ahead.

Hello Shem!

The IISERs do not release any cutoff scores or ranks. But students generally analyse from the answer key and make prediction over the years.

Well according to the previous year trends, you probably can get a seat in IISER TVM(as last year, students who scored 80-85 got IISER TVM) in the first round or second round of allotment depending on the fact if its your 1st/2nd/3rd preference. If IISER Pune(generally, 100+ is required) is your first choice then you may not get get in the first three rounds...you may get other IISERs but can eventually use the float option to get IISER Pune. And you are also from the reserved category(If you belong to the non-creamy layers of OBC), so chances are good. You may also get IISER Mohali(A student scored 85 and got it in last round)and Kolkata(generally 95+ marks is required for general students). The newest IISERs too.

This year the IAT questions were difficult from the other previous year question papers. So, be hopeful that the closing rank may go down. And the seat intake from SCB stream has also increased by 25%. Also, the board cutoffs were relaxed to 60% this year due to the pandemic.

According to me, you will most probably get an IISER of your choice(IISER TVM surely). And you have the float option to get the IISERs of higher preference.

All the best!

Hi aspirant,

hope it helps you. Good luck

Dear Aspirant,

IISER doesn't provide any official cutoff list.So looking at the previous year's cutoff, there is a better chance of your's to get admission in IISER.The last year's utoff for OBC was 60-70 marks. So according to your marks you will get a good IISER.But the cutoff might change every year.

All the best

Thank you

Hello Aspirant,

Seeing your marks of IISER Aptitude test, it is difficult to say which IISER you may get, whether Pune or Kolkata.

Since seeing and considering the previous years cutoff of both these colleges, which ranges from 110 to 180 previously, they vary each year depending on what your score, category and rank is.

Seat availability also plays a vital role since every IISER has 200 seats.

Hello Aspirant,

The cutoff of IISER institutes changes and varies each yarr depending on seat available and exam difficulty level. It is also dependent on your category and percentile rank . Previously, the cutoff trends of IISER Pune was from 110/180 for general category. But every year, the cutoff changes and depends.

But seeing your score, it is difficult to say whether you get admission or not.

Hii!

Firstly, due to the lockdown and postponement of the exam, there is no effect on the cutoff of any of the entrance exams in the country. So, you don't need to worry about that.

Secondly, you need to mention the board of education or the channel by which you want to take admission in IISER, Pune. The cutoff varies every year and is different for candidates from different Boards of education.

Kindly reframe the question and include this detail.

Hope you understand.

Good luck!

Hello divyansh!

For IISER PUNE general category candidates must secure a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2020. However, the category rank of reserved category candidates (OBC-NC, SC, ST, PD), should be within 10000. Additional cut-off criteria for marks obtained in 10+2 board examination is also applicable.

As far as I know you can use your previous year's eligibility to get IISER Pune , you need to crack the exam again to qualify for IISER Pune . First you need to qualify for the written examination and then appear for the interview . And in the basis of both , you will get IISc or IISER . So you need to again give KVPY in order to have 1 year gap.
