About IISER Pune
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020). IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in the year 2012. IISER Pune offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
IISER Pune offers BS-MS dual degree programme at UG level, Master of Science (MSc) programme at PG level and Integrated PhD (i-PhD) programme, PhD programme, Externally Funded PhD programme and International PhD programme at the doctoral level. IISER Pune admission to BS-MS programmes will be done based on the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). For admission to MSc courses, candidates need to clear IIT-JAM. For PhD admission at IISER Pune, candidates must meet eligibility criteria, take a national-level test, and pass an interview. Admission to Integrated PhD (i-PhD) programme, JGEEBILS/ JEST/ JAM/ NBHM followed by interviews.
According to the NIRF Report 2024, 14 UG students were placed with a median salary package of Rs. 8,30,800 respectively. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023, IISER Pune has been ranked 34th position in the Overall category and ranked 27th position in the Research category. Students who are admitted to BS-MS dual degrees at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research via the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel are offered a KVPY fellowship of Rs. 5,000. KVPY fellowships are offered as per the KVPY norms. Also, students admitted via JEE Advanced and SCB channels of admissions are offered a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships according to DST INSPIRE scholarship norms. Code 4 - Those whk have given pre medical or pre professional Examination.

Hello,
According to historical tendencies, you should.
This year, it will depend on how well students perform generally and the extent to which the increase in seats has an impact (this year, 75 percent of seats shall be filled via the SCB channel). That will ultimately determine which IISER you receive.
But in my opinion, with a score of 124, you should surely get admitted to IISER Pune.
