Candidates with a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a good academic record or a Master’s degree by Research in Engineering/ Technology disciplines, with a good academic record.
Admission is based on performance in entrance test and interview.
The following category of candidates shall be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test for the Ph. D. program :
(i) Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE.
(ii) The teacher fellowship holders, provided that the competent employing authority issues a No Objection Certificate to the candidate to join the Ph. D. programme and an undertaking that the candidate will be granted leave for the duration of the required coursework.
