College have all equipments and proper teaching aids. The ground is huge and there are separate gyms for both girls and boys .College campus consit of indoor stadium and spacious auditorium.Well developed College building.
College has updated syllabus and curriculum as per research need and competitive exam perspective. it includes all development which are needed .The teaching is good and the faculty are expert in particular field.
The placement are average and no high scale packages are offered though the companies which come are renowned and internationally recognised but due to college reputation and intake capacity is less higher placements are neglected.
The college infrastructure , facilities and equipment of my college are very good . There is a library available in the university . The campus is wifi enabled and and the overall hygiene is really high .
The faculty members are really experienced in their respective fields . Workshops and guest lectures are organised to ensure industry readiness of students . There is a library available in the university .
The placements in my college is good . Every year 70 percent students are placed at the best companies . The college supports the students in the placement procedure. There is a dedicated placement cell. Several trainings and guest lectures are conducted by the placement cell to help the students.
Our college has upgraded classrooms with smart board facilities it has classrooms for computer laboratories chemistry and biology optometry Labs. It has a good auditorium with the library. The hostel is spacious and clean and the food is delicious.
All the faculties members of the college are supportive in nature. They always guide the students in career development. They guide the students in choosing career opportunities in future. They try to make the concept easy.
Last here it was estimated that 90% to 93% of the students were hired in internships as well of jobs from well known companies. Recently Amazon and Flipkart made campus drive at our university to recruit freshers. From what I had the placement process was difficult to moderate.
My college infrastructure was very good Having good class room library having good environment . Having a very good buildings and classroom and good examination hall. College campus is also very huge. Also Environment is neat and hygiene.
The academics is good here but college is working on it to improve for there student .I did my MA in English Literature in account from this college. Teachers are good and friendly. It is affiliated with the university of Delhi.
The quality of placements is quite good, approx. 90% students get placed in with an average around 10-11 lakh per annum and with a lowest of 4 lakh per annum, and highest is about 50 lakh per annum, the placement cell faculty are very supportive.
Classrooms are not well furnished. Lecture theatre room is available for exhibitions and conferences within the department. Drinking water facility is available. The food served in the canteen is very good.
Faculty members are excellent and well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not difficult. If you attend classes regularly, you can score good marks. I did my masters of arts in history from there
There are 8 semesters in this course. There are 40 seats in every course. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Make My Trip and Chayoos. There are some posts for the students in which they can show their skills as a politician.
The facilities on the campus are quite good in Jamia. Infrastructure is quite old but good from my point of view. The quality of the facilities is very good at Jamia Islamia. The food availability in the mess and the canteen is very good. Sports and games are very good.
The teachers at Jamia Islamia are very helpful and qualified. Some of them are from IITs and NITs. Teaching quality is quite good in Jamia. The course curriculum is very related and relevant to the course. The difficulty of the semester exams is good. 80 percent is the pass percentage.
70% of the students are placed. The highest package is 25 lakhs, and the average package is 10 lakhs. The top recruitment companies are Jio, Samsung, etc. 40 percent of students got internships. The top roles offered in this course are in mechanical, electronics, civil, etc.
Jamia millia islamia which is a central University of India and always comes under top ten NIRF ranking has undoubtedly beautiful infrastructure providing necessary facilities to students like a central Library,A sports ground for students,A canteen in campus with wi fi facility.
I have completed my master's degree in economics. The course curriculum structured brilliantly with fully updated. We have 2 year course curriculum with four semester. The ratio of students and professors is not very good but okay.
In our university all the students are eligible for the internal or external placements for commerce and tech also in business administration students. We didn't get more opportunities as we have completed my master's in economics so not much companies is visiting the campus for recruiting us.
Placement for arts and humanities students could be better
The college has the basic necessary facilities but advanced classrooms or smart boards are not in most of the classes l, atleast not in the ones we have classes in. The living spaces are clean and is very spacious.
I am currently enrolled in sociology department and am doing bachelor's. This field is of my interest. The teachers are outstanding. They have great knowledge. The curriculum is also handy. It depends on us whether we can get a job further or not because of huge competition
Jamia has its placement cell which is linked with many job opportunities. This helps in placements of students. The highest salary offered is 28 lakh. It has given placements to many students in many companies since it's start.
The fee of my course annually is 7500 approximately. This is lower than many state colleges . According to me, it is worth spending money because of the great teachers, planned seminars, the experience and exposure you get and ofcourse the placements.
The campus life is the best. The campus is suitable for both hot and cold climate. The is a big place for sport activities too and you can play anywhere in the campus too. The location is safe any the staff, teachers and students are friendly as well as helpful.
No, thanks
Jamia’s course in Psychology is one of the best to offer in New Delhi. However, it should be noted that even though the professors are qualified, the facilities and equipment are not up-to the mark. I cannot say anything about the hostel facilities, but the food in some canteens are the same as the hostels. So the food is great, sometimes above average. Provides a quick tasty bite in between classes. The classrooms can be a little cleaner though. The walls are as if they’re on the verge of decaying.
The courses provide a basic and comprehensive depth into the subject of psychology. Although it could be a little better in the sense that they should employ more professors who are not Jamia alumni.
I dont have a personal experience of placement in this university but I have heard that the placement scene is very poor in Jamia. This is the case with almost with every social science subject in NCR.
The fees are affordable and anyone and everyone can enter this college. Although it comes at a compromise that the university is not upto the mark in terms of facilities and technologies. Even the website was just updated.
The campus is vibrant. If anyone takes admission there, look out for political student activists, leading a voice against the system. You may not agree with each protest but it makes the campus lively.
The infrastructure of our English department is better than any other department but the college gives all the basic requirements and facilities to the students. The campus is full of trees which makes the campus more stunning, there are libraries with AC, WiFi is also available inside of the building. Canteen food is also good, and it looks safe .
I am doing MA in English as i want to grow from a better place and get job in good company. All the faculty members are well educated and well behaviour, they shows great enthusiasm while teaching, and they motivates us with their experience too. Curriculum which i am learning is recently updated and has valuable information which will help me to get through good companies.
This college provides good placements to all their students, students has an good percentage of getting placed from campus placements, around 90% students last year got placed from our college to big companies, one of my senior got 12LPA salary package. Support staffs are also very supportive throughout the process.
For Civil Engineering at DTU, General EWS category students usually need a JEE Main rank below around 30,000. For DU, the cutoff ranks vary by college within the university, but a rank within the top 40,000 may be competitive. For JMI, a JEE Main rank around 60,000-70,000 could still offer a chance, as it has slightly higher cutoffs than DTU and DU. However, cutoffs can fluctuate each year.
All the courses of jamia Millia Islamia including pg diploma in remote sensing and GIS course application form is available in the month of February on their own website of university.you can apply from there whenever form is out.
Moreover,it is a one year course included 2 semester.candidates must have a bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university or institute.tbe fees for thee course is approx 10 k.if you need accommodation they provide hostel facility charges of which is 50 k per annum.
Yes, it is possible that you will get a backlog in your first semester if you were absent from an internal assessment at Jamia Millia Islamia due to medical reasons.
While the specific policies regarding medical absences and backlogs may vary, it is common for universities to have procedures in place for students who miss assessments due to illness. These procedures often involve providing medical documentation to justify the absence and potentially taking a makeup exam or assignment.
However, the final decision regarding whether or not you will get a backlog will depend on the specific rules and regulations of Jamia Millia Islamia and the nature of the internal assessment.
It is advisable to consult with your department or the university's student affairs office to understand the exact policies and procedures regarding medical absences and backlogs.
I hope this information is helpful.
