Hello,

I hope you are doing good,

Teachers in the college are highly qualified. They are very helpful. Their teaching quality is world-class. Semester exams are average. If you focus on studies and attend the classes regularly, then it is more than enough to pass semester exams.

In the chemical engineering department, more than 75% of the students got placed with a decent salary package. The highest salary package offered in the chemical course is 38 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit college are mostly non-core companies. Core placements are very few here.

It has a lush green campus, and it is fully equipped with a Wi-Fi network. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped with modern infrastructure. The library is good. Our college has some newly built hostels, and most hostels are old. Newly admitted students get old hostels with a capacity of 3 students in each room. A mess serves average food for students. Medical facilities are quite good here. There is a dispensary inside the campus. Our college conducts many sports and games every year. Almost all sports facilities are available here.

If we see the above mentioned parameters of placements, faculty and the infrastructure, So YES it is worth to join the MNIT JAIPUR CHEMICAL BRANCH.

For more details and clearity you can refer to the below mentioned article from our portal:

MNIT Jaipur is a Government college (Institute of National Importance). There is a very good infrastructure in terms of labs. The college have good placements and expert teachers in the field of Chemical Engineering. There are numerous researches that are going on in the institute corresponding to the subject. So you will get enough scope both in research as well as placements. The average salary for the placements is around Rs 6 LPA and above.

So its a good choice to go for the course, although as like most of the core fields, there are more jobs in the non-core fields and most students go to non-core jobs.

hello aspirant,

mechanical engineering is almost dead in todays's time, but this doesn't means it's a bad option either. If you have interest in studying it you can do wonders in it, it just depends on how much you fight for it. so please think once before going for mech in MNIT jaipur, because if you have MNIT mech u may also have some option for ECE, EE in other NIT's or maybe CSE in some colleges which are great.

coming back to your ques, it is average like any other college with average placement of 5lakh/anum,with good facilities and environment.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

The Seat allotment of JOSAA depends on various factors like Gender, community, Category, hime state quota etc. The Choice filled by Student is also considered while allotment of seats.

The change in institute during mock and first round would be because of many of the appearing student in councelling would have changed their choice filling order . Due to which the seat allotment of round 1 differed from Mock seat allotment .

I hope this will answer your query.

Thanks!!!!!

It is suggested you go through the list of colleges you want to apply in and make your own preference list. for example It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/OBC category is lower than the general category CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced. It should be noted the cut off for OBC/ EWS/ SC/ ST category is lower than the general category

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

Hello,

Last year in round 6 of JoSAA counselling the cut off was follows for OBC-NCL (Other state) category to get seat in B.Arch

  • National Institute of Technology Calicut: 418
  • National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli: 251

Considering this you have chances to get seat in NIT Calicut but you may not get seat in NIT Trichy. Also the cut off is as follows for the institutes that you have selected for choice filling

  • School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi: 324
  • School of Planning & Architecture: Vijayawada: 481
  • National Institute of Technology, Rourkela: 511
  • Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur: 573

Based on the cut off you have chances to get seat in SPA Vijayawada and NIT Rourkela besides MNIT Jaipur in which you have already secured seat allocation.

Cut off depends on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. So it may increase or decrease this year based on above mentioned factors.

To check the previous year cut off use the link given below

Hello Aspirant

As per the nirf ranking of vnit, svnit and mnit based on average placements history the colleges are ranked as follows

01svnit

02.vnit

03.mnit

the more importance for svnit is because it is in gujarath there are more number of companies and more number of recruiters than others which makes easy for the higher number of  placements but you should have your opinion based on the field of interest.

Hi,

Hope you doing well . Without knowing your rank, category , home state, it is impossible to say what colleges or NIT you could get. All the institute that you mentioned here like NIT-SURATHKAL, NIT-Calicut, MNIT etc all are among top NITs in India and has good reputation in country. The placement for CSE in these are also good and you should take CSE in any of these colleges.

If you want to know what colleges you could get with your JEE Mains rank, you should use this tool:

Thanks and Good Luck!!!!!

Dear Mangala,

Both the institutes are great and when it comes to branches ECE and EEE, both have a wide scope of opportunities so one needs to analyze his field of interest before opting for either of the branches. So, I would suggest you to choose your area of interest first.

Also, according to the data, the requirement for ECE engineers is increasing yearly as compared to EEE engineers. An average ECE Engineer may earn around 3.5LPA. So seeing to this as a great scope you can join ECE branch in MNIT Jaipur.

Moreover, MNIT Jaipur has a great placement record for students so you may also get placed into famous companies as many famous companies often visit the campus for recruitments.

Hope this helped in resolving your query.

Good Luck :)

College Infrastructure

Malaviya National Institute of Technology(MNIT) Jaipur have a lecture complex known as VLTC where all classes are held. It have separate hostels for both boys and girls. It have well equipped labs and various research facilities. Various sports tournament and cultural programs are organized to enhance the capability of students.

Full of twists and turns

College Infrastructure

The college itself is not that old compared to other government colleges and the infra is alright but there is no architectural beauty in the buildings they are just bland. Although everything is well maintained, it does not have anything special about it

Great college good environment

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

The classrooms are well ventilated and have full AC, and the labs also well decent. The library's sports facilities are also good, but the hostel is quite decent. In the first year, you are given a three-seater room, but in the next, you are given a single room, and you need to adjust to the mess.
