Hello,
Please mention your OBC rank as the cut off is in the form of rank. In 2019 the cut off rank for NIT, Meghalaya for admission to CSE was 6451 under other state quota and for NIT, Agartala it was 5878 under other state quota. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc. To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you may use our JEE Main college predictor

Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, NIT Sikkim for CS, NIT Agartala for ECE and NIT Srinagar for CS, All the above asked are equally good at its place. It depends on your preference where you want to study or where you will be comfortable. For CS students they dont need much Infrastructure. Just a laptop and a good Internet Connection would be enough and once if you get comfortable with thw surroundings with college you are good to go. So, chose the one which would give you best environment. All the above mentioned are good colleges though NIT Sikkim is newly built among NIT's but still it is a good college.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
Hello
NIT Agartala is a quite good for ECE department in term of placement, faculty. The companies come for the placemnet are Google, NTPC, Powergrid, Indian oil, TATA etc. The average pay is approximately 5 to 6 Lpa. It has AAA+ rating which means good as per the analyzing report of Careers 360 for the genuine reviews of the college you can go through with given below link---- https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/national-institute-of-technology-agartala
Hello aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that both the colleges are very good and tier-1 colleges and have very good brand name . In my opinion , you can choose NIT agartala because IIIT kota is new so it will take time to grow with these network with time whereas agaratala is old and have very strong network ,experience faculities which is very important . The average package of NIT agartala is around 5lakhs and highest is around 30 lakhs
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
Hi Ambala, hope you are doing well. Now as per your question I want to mention that it is quite difficult to compare these two institutes solely on the basis of CSE Branch. Both are equally good institutes with good faculty. Both NIT Agartala and IIIT Bhubaneswar have been set up in 2006. Both offer very good placements too. Now coming to main part, according to me NIT Agartala will have the upper hand than IIIT Bhubaneswar as not only its higher ranked than its compatriot in NIRF but is also an Institute of National Importance set up by the Union Government of India and functions under MHRD. Morover NIT Agartala has branches ranging from CSE to Biotech whereas IIIT Bhubaneswar provides B.Tech and M.tech courses only in CSE,ECE, IT & Electronics And electrical engineering which means the number of companies visiting the campus for placements is quite huge in NIT Agartala compared to IIIT Bhubaneswar. Hence you get more exposure in terms of choices. Now if you are an IT freak and think of landing developing personal skills in CSE then go for IIIT BHUBANESWAR. Morover the overall fees for B.Tech(4 yrs) of NIT Agartala is quite less compared to its compatriot. Hope this helps
Thanking you
Yours sincerely

Hi
You have mentioned your percentile but what is your SC rank?
Your profile suggests that your home state is AP
It's quite difficult to predict because cut off depends upon various factors like
------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,
------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,
------------) toughness level of the neet examination
------------) number of seats available etc
But yes,
When we go through previous year data then
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,
----------) Under other state, 9207 sc rank was closing rank in NIT, Agartala and it was for Production Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
So, you have chances in NIT Agartala only if your SC category rank is around 9000.
This prediction is on the past year data basis but cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so

The college has separate buildings for all the departments. College has updated and separate labs. It's has huge campus. The campus has sports Complex, playground, many canteens, faculty quaters, and guesthouses within the campus.
NIT Agartala boasts a well-maintained and modern infrastructure that complements its academic environment. The campus is spread over a vast area with well-equipped academic buildings, laboratories, and workshops that cater to various disciplines. The library is spacious, providing access to a wide range of books and e-resources. Hostel facilities are comfortable, with good amenities for students, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Sports complexes, auditoriums, and recreational spaces add to the holistic development of students. Overall, NIT Agartala’s infrastructure is quite decent, supporting both academic and extracurricular pursuits effectively.
The campus is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure required. Everything is present inside the campus, e.g., a market, restaurant, shops, etc. All hostels have Wi-Fi (but it has data limitations). There is no problem of water scarcity. Canteens are good in number, as mess food is very poor and gets boring in a month. For sports, there are plenty of grounds for every game. Medical facilities are also available inside the campus but can only provide treatment for minor diseases.
