The course curriculum is very good. Was really helpful to fill my knowledge requirements. All of the faculty members were extremely supportive and worked hard to ensure that their students were technically sound. I am really thankful to my PG coordinator.
Before last year, you will be eligible for placements. Many companies visit at the time of placement, like JP Morgan, Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, ITC, and many more. Jobs were offered in different profiles, ranging from core to software. Approximately 85% of students were placed to join the company for fieldwork.
In this college, classrooms are clean with proper working projectors. It provides a free Wi-Fi connection for students, and laboratories are well-equipped with safety measures. Many sports activities are there to learn from my college.
Compared to other, our college get minimum fees in both college and hostels. My course are very special. In our college changing the syllabus and updating the things a lot. Faculties are good to teach and update the latest things also. Every sem we are going to industries for visit and learn many many things.
Around 70% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 80% of students get internships, and get placed. I did short internship and later joined Morden foods. Now I'm currently working in IFF, Chennai.
College infrastructure is overall great. The hostel facilities I think is very minimal in the sense only for Under graduates. However the canteen facilities are very very good. There are two canteens inside the campus. The canteens are neat and clean.
Course curriculum was pretty neat. Even though we did not have much electives per se, the curriculum made non engineering graduates like us more attuned to engineering. They are very updated in their respective fields and are always available to the students to clarify doubts and guide them in projects.
Pretty good compared to other colleges offering this course there will be many core like pharma, non core like information technology will be offering you job ever since one complete 3rd year so do not keep backlogs.
The atmosphere of the classroom is fine, and students can also gain knowledge by library. The quality of the food served is good. Sporting events will be conducted regularly without fail, Medical facilities are very good.
Teachers in our college are well-qualified with more knowledge in courses. We gained a lot of knowledge from them. The course is very much related to work and it make-us learns about work culture and many more about work.
The highest salary package offered was 1L and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Tolaram, ITC, and Mondelez are the top recruiting companies in our college. Around 70% of the students got placed.
College is constructed in wide area range of about 190 acres. It has good infrastructure such as swimming pool ,2 libraries , non -veg canteen and veg canteen and good playground space.maintance is good and maintained in proper hygienic
Quality of teaching is good.staffs are highly qualified with minimum 1 PhD degree and doctorate course.i am studying because of better placement and as well as quality of education.teaching is good as well as in extra curricular
Good placements.it only one drawback we can't appear to other placement selection if placed in other companies . placement is one time .it can't be redo .about 250 companies as appeared while I was studying.
Since it is government college there is no fee structure.it
The college buildings and labs are amazing and are the most advance in comparison to not only colleges in Chennai but to the whole of India. The labs are equipped with first-in-class technologies and advancements.
With the CBCS system, systemic assessments and assignments are always very helpful in continually testing the students. The academics in on-par with international universities. Anna university boasts a ranking among the top 10 universities in India.
Anna university has one of the best placement records in Tamil Nadu. The recruiters hire a large number of students from here. All types of companies, from I.T to life sciences prefer Anna university students.
One of the most top-rated universities in India has the most iconic building of all the colleges, the red building. The campus is one of the biggest here in Chennai, packed with class buildings and labs, and greenery.
The college boasts a ranking within the top 10, only second to the IITs. The knowledge of the professors here is incomparable to others. They come from various backgrounds specializing in very specific domains.
Anna university is the favorite college of most companies for recruitment. This is because of the knowledgeable students that this university produces. The placements every very is very consistent and get hired in huge numbers.
Though it has good infrastructure, practical equipments are still old. library facilities are excellent. In case of sports, there is a large ground , buy there is only one coach for hockey, there are no coaches for other sports. Hostel&food facilities are not bad and it's according to one's own opinion. Regarding food hygiene, Sometimes it's not hygienicsince they cook for a large mass of students.
I'm studying industrial biotechnolgy. I was really into biology and enhancing biological world with the help of technology attracted me. No, our curriculum is not fullyupdated , still there are a lot of loopholes. If you really want to get a jobafter four years of college then this course is definitely not for you. Because this course is like a ocean and one need much more knowledge and exposure to excel in this field. Some go for masters , while others take different ways. The choice is yours.
Industrial biotech students get placed in pharma , IT sector companies but the number of persons get placed is very low. In our campus ,highest salary package are given to chemical engineering students.
It differs for each student. There are regular (R) and self supporting (SS) students. For SS fee is higher that regular students, since they also pay for maintenance of lab equipments. If you're a first graduate in your family then it costs only 4500 per semester. If you're not, then it costs extra 5000.
One can learn a lot from college campus life than on class. Since CEG is also nearby, students can participate in their events too and gain good exposure. The support from teachers are based on students. If a person really wants to excel in the field, then one has to chase teachers to know all about internship, research works and so on...
No
My college has good infrastructure and advance lab facilities. My college providing me free wifi and sports facilities. Every class in our college has projector, Mic etc;. All are in very good condition. Canteen foods are highly hygienic and it has been maintained well.
I'm currently studying Biotechnology, 3rd year. All teachers in our campus have minimum 5-10 years teaching experience. Every faculty in our campus are Excel in their field. Curriculum is updated regularly accordance with industry demands.
Quality of placements in our college is really good. Almost 90-95% students will get placed. I don't know about the salary packages sort of things. Maybe average salary per month is around Rs.15,000-30,000. College is very supportive.
Fees in our college is very low compare to others. Industrial Biotechnology(Regular) course cost Rs.16,000-18,000 per year. I feel like it was worth.
Has good infrastructure, equipped laboratories and a huge library for CEG students. Smart boards are available. It is well maintained. The CEG canteen food is hygienic and the newly built ACT canteen is extremely well built.
Teachers engage in delivering proper teaching to students by various means and techniques. They would want all the students to participate in their lectures and seminars. Further developments to curriculum could be advised.
Placements for my department will be quite less but for IT departments there are really lot of opportunities and experiences. They highly encourage to appy for placements all over the country with a good package.
It is worth for the experience, exposure to student culture, education, professional involvement, placements, seminars activities and other extra curricular activities.
