Bholananda National Academy, North 24 Parganas Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Bholananda National Academy in North 24 Parganas is a college being affiliated to the University of Calcutta.  it extended a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in different streams. The admission process is to fill up eligible candidates for the multitudinal courses available at the college. Bholananda National Academy selects candidates based on individual courses, requiring entrance tests for a few. The academy offers nine courses under five degree programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  Most courses require completion of a 10+2 in an accredited board as a minimum eligibility criterion. However, particular academic qualifications will vary according to the selected course. For example, in the case of the B.Optom course, students are admitted through the Common Entrance Test conducted by MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad).

Application Process

3. Attach all relevant documents (generally):

• 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
• For postgraduate courses: Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate
• ID proof
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Entrance test scorecard (for courses requiring entrance tests)

4. Submit the completed hard copy of the application form along with all other required documents to the admission office of the college either in person or via post.

Admission Process According To Degree

B.Sc. Programs: Bholananda National Academy mandates various B.Sc. programs including B.Sc-in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, B.Sc Psychology, and BMLT(Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology). Admission under these programs shall consider the 10+2 marks, and may involve an entrance test/interview as deemed by the college.

BBA Programs: These two BBA programs: BBA and BBA Hospital Management courses are on offer by the institute. Admission criteria for the above two programs will largely be on the basis of the 10+2 examination of the candidates. It may also involve a separate entrance examination or interview.

BCA Program: As for the BCA program, agreed upon by the admission procedure, it will put more stress on the 10+2 aggregate percent marks in Mathematics in order to prepare students. As for other selective processes, there could be an aptitude test or an interview.

B.Optom Program:  Admission for the Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) course is given only on the basis of the Common Entrance Test to be conducted by MAKAUT. All candidates will need to clear the entrance to be eligible for admission.

M.Sc Clinical Psychology: The applying process for the postgraduate course in Clinical Psychology possiblly requires students with a recognized bachelor's degree. Graduate marks may be considered along with the possibility of a separate test or interview in the course of selection procedure.

MPH Program: In order to apply for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, candidates might be required to hold a bachelor's degree on a specific related field. Admission may be based on the past academic performance combined with an admission test or an interview.
