CCA Chandigarh Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Chandigarh College of Architecture is one of the most esteemed institutions offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in architecture. The admission process of CCA is designed to get talented and deserving students into the B.Arch and M.Arch programs.

The undergraduate admissions at CCA Chandigarh are basically on the basis of JEE Main or National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for admission into B.Arch. For postgraduate admissions regarding the M.Arch Architecture Education Program with the intake of 20 seats, there is a complete merit-based admission.

The academic session commonly starts from August-September at CCA, and the entire admission process becomes functional a few months before the said common month.

Eligibility criteria for B.Arch include successful completion of 10+2 including Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, whereas for M.Arch, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in either architecture or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Application Process

Chandigarh College Architecture has a different process of application for the programs:

For B.Arch program:

1. Qualify JEE Main or NATA examination.
2. Visit official CCA site and fill online applicaton form.
3. Pay requisite application fees.
4. Upload all important documents including 10+2 mark sheets, JEE Main/NATA score card and others as specified.
5. Submit application form under completion before the deadline.

For M.Arch Architecture Education program:

1. Official CCA website has forms for application for M.Arch. Download M.Arch application form from CCA's official site.
2. Fill the application form with accurate details.
3. Attach all required documents with the application including bachelor's degree certificate, mark sheets and other desired certificates.
4. Pay application fee as per specification of institute.
5. Submit the completed application form with its all documents by last date.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Arch: Admission to the 5-year B.Arch program at CCA Chandigarh is based on entrance examinations, JEE Main or NATA. The program has an intake capacity of 40 students. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and qualify in the entrance examination to be eligible.

M.Arch Architecture Education: Admission to the 2-year M.Arch program at CCA is on merit basis with 20 students per year. To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in architecture or related field recognized by a university.  

General documentation required for admission generally includes :

• Passport size photographs
• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• JEE Main/NATA score card (for B.Arch)
• Bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheets (for M.Arch)
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate (if applicable)
