Ph.D Petroleum Technology: The department also has a Ph.D program in Petroleum Technology. The Ph.D program is a full-time research program with a maximum duration of six years. Admission to the Ph.D program is a procedure based on DURAT (Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test) clearance or NET (National Eligibility Test) or JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). Ph.D-pre-selected candidates are required to undergo a Ph.D Pre-Registration Coursework before formally continuing their research work.
