Government Polytechnic College, Valangaiman (GPTC Valangaiman) is a technical college.   2. Diploma in Computer Engineering: This course covers the connectivity to hardware, software, and networking technologies that are computer-related. It has 60 students approved for intake.
  3. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: The combination of electrical and electronic engineering principles is what this program provides. Its approved intake is 60 students.
  4. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: The program tackles electronic systems and communication technologies. Its approved intake is 60 students.
  5. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This program focuses on mechanical design, manufacturing, and industrial processes. Its approved intake is 60 students.

The admission process for these diploma programs follows the norms of the Tamil Nadu state for polytechnic education. For all of them, candidates will usually be expected to complete a 10th standard exam under a good score in Mathematics, Science, and English.
