The College of Architecture, located in Azara, Guwahati, Assam, has been one of the finest in architectural education. The college, approved by the Council of Architecture, adopts a very well-defined admission process aimed at choosing the most promising and aspirational architects. Mostly through the performance of candidates in two national-level entrance examinations-Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)-the admission programs of GCAP are conducted. The admission calendar of GCAP usually works alongside the academic session, which normally starts in August-September. The candidates eligible for B.Arch admission should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with the minimum marks as prescribed by the Council of Architecture.
M.Plan (Master of Planning in Urban and Regional Planning): Another M.Plan program grooms students in Urban and Regional Planning at the GCAP.
