The College has two hostels namely the “Satish Samanta Boys’ Hostel”. The hostels have accommodation for 100 students each. The rooms are well furnished and shared by two or more borders. Only bona fide students can seek hostel accommodation for which they must apply to the Principal separately. In such cases, a separate form will be issued from the students’ section of the college office. Distance from the residence is given priority for accommodation.

The College has a nine-point Multi-gymnasium in the Department of Physical Education. Every year students can access the Gymnasium.
The College has a central library with a very rich collection of textbooks, reference books, and journals numbering approximately 40,000. In addition to this, each department maintains a seminar library of its own. Bonafide Honours students are allowed to borrow books from both these libraries.
The College has two playgrounds on the college campus one with volleyball and badminton courts.
The College has a good setup computer facility with a broadband internet connection. Students can avail of the facility at a specified time with written permission from their respective Heads of the Department which in turn is to be endorsed by the Principal.
The College has a canteen where food is available at a reasonable rate for students.
The College has an Alumni Association that was taken in a meeting of the ex-students of the College held on the College premises on March 23, 2011. For the next 2 years, the Association continued in a somewhat informal manner. In January 2014, the First Convention of the Alumni was held at Haldia Govt. College and a formal constitution were adopted along with a duly elected seven-member Executive Committee. Each year, since then, we have been holding Alumni Convention once every two years. ; elections to the Executive Committee are held according to the Bye-Laws of the Association. The Association is being prepared for getting registered with the Registrar of Societies, WB.
The college campus is equipped with a free Wi-Fi facility.
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

Students get admission for the Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management [BTTM] course on the basis of their merit. Most of the colleges release a cut off percentage for the admission process. Students who are able to fulfill the cut off percentage in their 10+2 score are most likely to get the admission.
Although some of the colleges prefer to give admission based on an objective-based entrance exam followed by a second round of interviews. For that, the students need to qualify the entrance exam and have the cut off percentage in their 10+2 examination also. Entrance exams have objective type questions to test the quantitative skills of the students. The application form will be available on the official website of the college or university, students can download it.
