Based primarily on merit, applicants must follow specified guidelines or procedures to be admitted to Holy Mary Institute of Technology and Science College of Pharmacy. Eligibility in connection with undergraduate admissions is determined through the performance on the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). In contrast, merit lists for merit-based admission for postgraduate students are drawn on scores obtained either in the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) or the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The college offers a four-year B.Pharma course with an approved intake of 100 students. TS EAMCET results determine the course of admission. An applicant must have taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology as subjects in Class XII for admission consideration.
M.Pharma: The institute conducts M.Pharma in different specializations.
Admissions are based on TS PGECET or GPAT scores. A B.Pharma degree should also be the eligibility criteria for applying.
Pharm.D: The college allows admission in the PharmD program, which lasts six years, with an enrollment of 30 students. Further details concerning admission have not been given but may likely be known based on TS EAMCET.
