The institute offers admission to PG level courses. Admission to the M.B.A program at IEM College of Management is based on the candidate's JEMAT or CAT score. Candidates who pass the entrance exam must then appear for a group discussion (GD) and a personal interview (PI). Admission to M.B.A is confirmed based on their performance in the entrance exam, group discussion and personal interview. IEM College of Management admission to the P.G.D.M. is based on the score secured in MAT. Later, candidates are then chosen based on a Written Ability Test (WAT), a group discussion, and a personal interview. IEM College of Management, Kolkata provides scholarships to financially disadvantaged students. There are some improvements needed in the toilet and related infrastructure. The AC, the classroom and the basics bench and chairs needs some improvements too. The overall structure is good and extensive improvement would be better.
Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure. Yes all are well maintained. Fully hygienic . My college provide us WiFi facilities, smart board facilities. My college always arrange sports for our extra curriculum.
It’s basically consists of only 2 classrooms .1 for Mba & other one for PGDM.The other rooms in the building comprise for Engineering batches .There is no canteen in the campus . You have to eat from roadside vendors .

For your rank, based on previous year's cut-offs, it is difficult to get seat in Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.

The cutoff for IEM Kolkata is 60%, the infrastructure is good and basic facilities are provided. Regarding placement record almost every student is placed and there is 100% placement, but the package offered is not good. Average salary package offered is as low as 5 LPA.
On the other hand Doon Business School, the infrastructure is average but good facilities are provided. Placement record of college is good with about 90% of the students getting placed and package ranges from 5 to 15 LPA.
So personally I think Doon business school is better
