Degree-wise Admission Processes
B.E.: The admission process for various B.E. programs at JDCT is as follows:
1. B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering: The program allows a 120-seat intake. Candidates are selected for the program based on their performance in a relevant entrance test and their marks in 10+2 Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics (PCM) subjects.
2. B.E. in Mechanical Engineering: It has an intake of 120 seats and covers all fundamental aspects of Mechanical Engineering. Candidate selection is through an entrance exam and merit for previous qualifications.
3. B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering: Given 120 seats, admission is based on marks obtained in the entrance exam and the candidate's performance in Physics and Mathematics.
4. B.E. in Civil Engineering: This course has an intake of 60 seats, which is relatively less. The selection of candidates is based on performance in the entrance examination as well as proficiency in Mathematics and Physics.
For all these courses, if any, JDCT will consider other factors such as the candidate's academic consistency, as well as a demonstrated commitment to extracurricular activities, in addition to performance and/or scores in an examination or college-conducted interview.
