MSRCHM was founded in 1993 as a part of MS Ramaiah Group of Institutions at Bangalore Karnataka It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses for hospitality management. Being a constituent college, it delivers postgraduate education in the area of hospitality management. The college strategically has a faculty strength of 26 well-experienced persons in the field for delivering quality education to the students. MSRCHM offers three full-time programmes: At the post graduate level the programme offered is MBA in Hospitality Management at the Under graduate level the programmes offered include Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and at the vocational level B.Voc in Culinary Operations. Today, MSRCHM is a recognised name in hospitality education in India, helped by the policy of providing industry-oriented educational programmes.

MSRCHM offers various amenities that are of big benefits of students in the course they take. It has provided a residence for boys and girls, while outstation students can find suitable lodgings in the hostels provided in the campus. The B.Voc in Culinary Operations is programme of three years which is designed to provide knowledge and training only in culinary arts Meanwhile MBA in Hospitality Management is the two year postgraduate programme which prepares the students for the managerial level jobs in the hospitality industry. All these programmes are set with clear cut theoretical contents enriched with realistic hands on the experience which is essential for creating successful careers in the complex hospitality industry.
