Sachin i would like to tell you that to get a NIT college for B. Arch and B. Tech degree you need to appear for jee mains exam .There if your rank is under 1000 - 6000 approximately then there are chances to get NIT they need more than 75% marks in 12th .So as your marks are 61% i dont think you are eligible for NIT.

With the rank which you have got it is very less likely to get an admission into a good NIT if u don't have any reservations.Hence it would be a bit better if you try for a home state NUT so that home state quota would be helpful.Hence I conclude by telling that the probability is very less.Thank You.

There is nothing like direct admission in NITs .You need to get good Marks .And as for your rank concern you can not geta any NITs or IIITs

See the rank u have secured is not enough for u to bag a seat in the good colleges like NITs , IIITs and GFTIs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under btech career.
