Hii,

According to last year 7th round cutoff, you can get some NITs like NIT, arunachal, bhopal, sikkim, manipur e.t.c. and other IIITs and GFTIs.

Good luck...

Hey.

To be eligible to NIT you need to have a minimum of 75% in your 12th boards exam or belong to the top 20 percentile of your class if you belong to the general category. And the cut off marks of JEE mains to be eligible for NIT in 2018 are 74 marks. Hence considering your jee marks you seem eligible.

With a score around 200 you can get admission in lower NITs. You can refer to the link below to knwo about cut offs of various NITs.

GOOD LUCK

Hello pankaj,

Hope you are doing good.

As you said you have secured 60.8 percent in your 12 th cbse, you are not eligible to get admission in any nit colleges through general quota.

The minimum percent required for her mains is 75 percent for general. I am sorry to say that you are not eligible as per this criteria.

If you want to take admission in NIT, you can prepare and give the exams for next year. Or you can take admission in any of the private colleges.

Hope you choose the best.
Good luck.!!

Yes , if you have given board exams this year then you are definately eligible for jee mains 2018...
Candidates securing 75% marks (65% marks for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination (12th) or to be in top 20 percentile of their respective boards will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2017.
In other words, we can say that admission to IITs, NITS, IIITs and CFTIs will be offered only to those students who are satisfying the aforesaid eligibility criteria.

Also, admission in IITs and NITs depend on your rank in jee mains and advance...
Good Luck!!!

Hi Avinash,

As per your percentage in Rajasthan Board and JEE Mains marks, it is difficult to get any of the colleges mentioned above. You can also look for other esteem colleges like: VIT, LPU, BITS, Assam Don Bosco University, Ahmedabad University,Jaypee University of Information Technology, PES University, Techno Global University, Xavier University, NIIT University, Sikkim Manipal University.

Thank you and best of luck.

Yes you are eligible if you fall into the following criteria. JEE Main ranks is calculated without class 12thboard marks from the academic year 2017-18 onwards. As per the new guidelines issued by MHRD for JEE, for candidates to qualify for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), they have to secure at least 75 per cent marks or be in the top 20 percentile in their respective class 12th board exam. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the qualifying marks would be 65 per cent marks in class 12th board exam.

good luck
