IIITDM Kancheepuram PG Admission Process 2025
Applying for an M.Tech/M.Des course with the eligibility criteria set by the college is mandatory for the students.
Students with GATE score for M.Tech and CEED score for M.Des are considered for IIITDM Kancheepuram admissions.
Candidates having valid score in GATE examination need to apply for CCMT counselling process for M.Tech admissions.

The result for the round 2 of CCMT counselling seat allotment for admission to M.Tech programmes has been released by the NIT Surat on June 24, 2024. To check their result candidates need to visit the ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to use their GATE registration ID and password to know their seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit the documents for verification and pay the registration fees.

Doctor of Philosophy is offered with a six years duration for the candidates who are interested in pursuing the programme in full time. Doctoral courses at IIITDM Kancheepuram is Ph.D programme. Our curriculum is very good because we have Saturday and Sunday as holidays. As it is a central government college, we can also have a lot of holidays, and I hope that it will help the students for healthy study. Semester exams are not tough if you attend every class without skips

I am a second year B. tech student. The curriculum is different from a normal engineering college. In this college we study engineering through design approach. Both will be going on parallelly till the 5th semester. NOTE : "Design will be the main course till 5th semester". Students who are equally interested can apply to this college. If not we may have to adapt to the curriculum and have to follow them.

See if you want to enjoy an urban life with very good placements after you pass out and awesome internships, then IIIT Delhi is the way to go. The only demerit is that fees of IIIT Delhi is very high for a normal middle class person, but if you take an education loan, then paying it off will be very easy as you'll be earning very handsomely after it.
But if you want the same good facilities with less fees, the NIT Calicut is a very good option due to it's reputation in the industry.

In 2021, average salary offered to students of Mechanical department was INR 6 lakhs per annum while it was INR 6.18 lakhs per annum in 2020 .
