Admission criteria for JEXPO Candidates

• Must have passed the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Mathematics, and Physical Science / Science / Science & Technology among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional/optional. Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2021 with English, Mathematics, and Physical Science/Science among others as subjects may also apply.

Admission criteria for DIRECT Admissions

• Must have passed/appeared* in the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training].

   OR

•  Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed. It appears ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET-2021. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and the single certificate should mention the duration of the ITI course.
