The degree-wise admission process at the School of Nursing, Asia Heart Foundation, is designed to assess candidates based on the specific requirements for each nursing program offered.
School of Nursing offers a 4-year B.Sc Nursing programme with an approved intake of 100 students. Admission is based on academic merit in 10+2 with science subjects, possibly followed by an entrance test and/or interview.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course offers 40 student intakes, and applicants will be eligible provided they have the diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Selection process may be preceded by an assessment of the earlier academic record, followed by a personal interview.
The institute has the following specialisations in M.Sc Nursing- Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetrical and Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Psychiatry Nursing. In all the specialisations, 5 students are admitted. Admission is taken purely on merit obtained in the B.Sc Nursing programme, with an entrance test and/or interview.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), intake approved of 100 students and admission usually via 10+2 results given preference to Science stream.
Post basic diploma in cardio thoracic nursing (20 students) and Post basic diploma in neuro science nursing (15 seats). It focuses on a category of nurses aiming to acquire specialties in their selected areas of practice.
