    Scope College Honest Review

    College Infrastructure

As a third-tier college, they have almost all the infrastructure and facilities needed for students. As I am a Computer Science student so I would talk mainly about that department. The college has almost enough computer systems in its labs to facilitate every student in a semester. They have internet access to almost every computer. They have a Wifi connection in the college but it lacks data usage, i.e, it provides only like 50MB. The college canteen is good but needs to be worked on.

    Academics

The curriculum is designed by RGPV University so the college is not responsible for this. The curriculum is a little bit outdated and the college does lack a practical approach. They should include more practical sessions and show students how the actual job is done. Due to the lack of practical approach both from university syllabus and college, students and get proper job-ready. The curriculum only includes theory about the recent developments in the field, which is not very useful.

    Placements

The quality of placement has been decreasing over years. College does say that students have placed but barely a few people got placed and that placements are also not up to the mark. They need to do include more resourceful people in their Training and Placement Department. In my last year of graduation, they were only able to bring one or two IT Companies, which is not comparable to other colleges who bring about 20-30 companies every year.

    Value for Money

The most key point of this college is it costs the least of all colleges in the city Bhopal. The few range from 25000-40000 depending upon various criteria. As per the cost of the fee, I am satisfied with the services, but still, some things need to be improved.

    Campus Life

The campus life is very average. It doesn't have an in-ground hostel, they provide a third-party hostel outside the college. The faculties and the HOD's are very helpful. They have open grounds, but the campus is very small in size. The location is very good, it's located on the NH-12 Highway, which makes it very easy to locate. The campus has many guards inside which makes it very safe for students. As the campus is very small, which gives very few chances to engage in many activities.

    Others

It has a good supporting staff, but it needs improvement in placements and practical study approach.
