Studies is okay but college life will be ruined.

    College Infrastructure

About the infrastructure it's kinda a old building with some broken walls it's kinda good and bad at the same time. Class room is a bit okay but the conference hall is better with ac instalation. Nothing to say much about this college infrastructure. Class room have required equipments but the computer lab most of the computers doesn't work and some computers are without mouse and keyboard.

    Academics

I'm studying BE CSE due to my passion the quality of teachers is okay but the way they teach is not even in a okay level. But they do a good work in introducing many courses to be learnt and make us learn some more skills.

    Placements

Last year placement was satisfying but this year placement was below average but still many gets good placement in a good company. 50% of the people have got placed last year in cse department. And it was about 6LPA in average.

    Value for Money

I wouldn't it's worth or not because sometimes I feel like it's worth but sometimes I feels it's not worth. But they motive us to learn more skills apart from just coding with where to do it and how to go forward to the next step in your domain.

    Campus Life

College location is very safe but this college is literally a jail. You have to wear a tie and tuckin even if it's 100⁰ they have no excuse for that. Campus will be very strict and you have to learn how to survey here or it's hard for you if you are gonna join. Think 100 times before you join this college. If you are not a type of being under controlled by someone else better search another good college.

Have a question related to St Joseph's Institute of Technology, Chennai ?

    Hy,

To gain admission to a B.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science through the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) , the expected rank can vary significantly based on several factors, including the number of applicants, their performance, and the specific institution.

Expected Ranks for AI and Data Science

    1. General Trends : Typically, for popular courses like AI and Data Science , the cutoffs can be quite competitive. Based on previous years' data, you might need a rank within the top 10,000 to 20,000 to secure admission in reputed colleges in Tamil Nadu.

    2. Specific Institutions : Here’s a rough idea of what you might expect:

      • Top Tier Colleges (e.g., NIT Trichy, IIITDM Kancheepuram ): Generally require ranks under 5,000 .
      • Good Colleges (e.g., Anna University, PSG Tech ): May have cutoffs ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 .
      • Average Colleges : Typically may accept ranks up to 20,000 or more , depending on their intake and competition level.
    3. Reservation Categories : If you belong to a reserved category (like OBC, SC, ST), the cutoffs may be lower, providing more opportunities for admission.

    Key Factors to Consider

    • Annual Variations : Cutoffs and expected ranks can change yearly based on the overall performance of candidates in the TNEA exam.
    • Seat Availability : The total number of seats available for the course and college can influence the cutoffs significantly.

    Recommendations

    • Stay Updated : Keep checking the official TNEA website and the specific colleges’ admission pages for the latest information on cutoffs.
    • Prepare Well : Focus on improving your academic scores and performance in any relevant entrance exams to increase your chances.
