SID Pune Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has separate quotas of hostel vacancies in the three wings of the hostel that have been worked out for each institute within the total capacity. Some Paying Guest accommodation is available in the close vicinity of the campus and at the Tingre Nagar area for day scholars as well as for the boys. A Wing can accommodate 180 students. It is located at Sakore Nagar (About 1 Km from the campus). B and C wings are located in the Rohan Mithila Complex. These are adjacent to each other and are located 1.2 Km away from the campus. Each room of the Symbiosis hostel is equipped with a bed, mattress, table, chair, bulletin board, book rack, and cupboard with an attached bathroom and toilet.

The college has a health care center with a team of specialist doctors for medical emergencies.

The College's well-equipped Gymnasium with the latest exercise machines with certified trainers, Yoga & Aerobics instructors is available at the campus Recreational & Wellness Centre.

The College Library has a collection of books, national and international magazines, international journals, e-resources, audiovisual material, Degree Projects, peer reviews & as a unique collection library has trend forecast magazines called “Promostyl, show details, Next Look’. SID Library uses the “COLOR CODING system for books. It also uses Automation software KOHA. The library has more than 12000 books, 1245 educational audiovisual collections,s, etc.

The campus appreciates the Fit India movement & has an excellent facility of Sports, Gymnasium, Yoga & Aerobics on the campus itself. The sports ground is completely maintained by the university and sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball and other outdoor sports are organized. 

The College Computer Labs have branded computers with many of the specialized application software titles that design students need to be successful in their academic careers. There are also high-quality color and black and white laser printers and scanners available.

The college has a hygienic cafeteria that serves healthy veg and non-vegetarian food. It also has a juice bar and coffee day express for the benefit of its students.

The campus has a well-furnished and well-equipped air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 585 people. The auditorium also has a generator facility and is used for a variety of cultural events celebrated on campus.

The college has a 24 hours Corporation Bank atm facility available on campus.

The campus also has a convenience store known as rangoli general stores where students can buy stationery, print important documents, etc.

The institute has Classical Animation, Digital Animation, Photography, Graphic Design, Sketching and Drawing, Film Making, Editing, and Sound Recording Studios, Usability Lab, Model making in Metal Working, Plastic, Wood and Clay Studios, Digital Simulation Studio, Material Store cum Library, Draping Studio, Garment Manufacturing, Pattern Making, and Fashion CAD Labs are few areas our students found investing their perspirations stimulated by the inspirations of great designers in the Industry.

The college Hostel has three wings -A, B, and C with a total capacity to accommodate 980 girls.  The Symbiosis Viman Nagar Hostel facility is available to girl students who have applied to the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID),  

The college has 22 Guest rooms available for parents who wish to stay for visiting their wards.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
