SIHS Pune cutoff marks are determined by SNAP test. SNAP test is conducted by SIU. SIU releases the SNAP result and accordingly participating institutes release their cutoffs. SIHS cutoff or SNAP cutoff is the minimum marks required for admission in SIHS. SIHS Pune cutoffs are released every year after the SNAP result. Students meeting the SIHS cutoff are called for further admission rounds.
Reservation criteria- Higher cutoff for general category and lower cutoff for lower category is called reservation criteria. Reserved category students are given this advantage.
Number of candidates appearing for SNAP test- Cutoff marks will increase with increase in the number of students.
Number of seats available- If the number of seats in SIHS Pune is less, then SIHS cutoff will be high and vice-versa.
Difficulty criteria- Difficulty level of the SNAP test determines the SIHS cutoff. With increase in the difficulty level, cut off marks will decrease.

Coming to your question, NO you cannot get admission into Symbiosis without giving the SET. The admission will only be provided through the entrance exam conducted by the university. Other than this there is no other way. So, you need compulsorily give this exam.

When it comes to sports quota, Symbiosis doesn't have a specific sports quota for admissions. However, during the Personal Interaction process, they do give due weightage to sports achievements and participation. This means that if you have a strong sports background, it can definitely work in your favor during the admission process.
