There is basically 2 process for admission in Techno India, salt lake, either you have to go through wbjee or jee mains rank or you may take admission through management quota.
If you want to get direct admission in Techno India salt lake you have to talk with management of Techno India.

And the fee for this will vary and it is quite high. If you get seat through WBJEE counselling or through JEE Mains the fee is 3 lakhs for the entire course duration in CSE. And you must have atleast 60% aggregate in your 10+2 from a recognised board.

There is no Techno India in Haldia so I assume you are talking about Haldia Institute of Technology.

There are many points to consider to decide which one is better. One of the most important thing to consider is the placement opportunities. Techno India, Salt lake provides better placement opportunities than HIT. Top companies come here for recruitment & most students manage to secure a job which is not the case in HIT.

On the other hand, the infrastructure of HIT is better than Techno India & it was also ranked 82 in infrastructure. The campus life is also amazing here & the hostels & everything are great whereas Techno India does not provide hostel facilities.

The faculty is knowledgeable in both the institutions & the education is great in both the places so that won't be a problem no matter which one you choose.

Now, it is you who will decide which one's better. These are the few points you should consider & see what's more important to you.

And according to my personal review , this college is good in terms of almost everything like faculty (well experienced faculty) , infrastructure ( well equipped labs but an old look of building from outside) and good in terms of placements( but only for CS and IT students , rare companies come for recruitments from other courses).

Techno India Salt Lake and Techno India University are almost same and it is quite difficult to differentiate them. Almost same companies come for recruitment in both the colleges. However, Techno India University, Kolkata is among top private universities of West Bengal. The Infrastructure provided are pretty good.
