Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan, Burdwan recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to University of Burdwan, Bardhaman.

Eligibility Criteria

Applications are invited from candidates, both male and female who have passed/appeared this year in the Higher Secondary(10+2) or it’s equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and vernacular or any other fifth subject. The general candidates must have to secure at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates) and at least 30% marks in English under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination of a University/ Recognized Board/Council. The selection of the candidates who have appeared will, however, be subject to their passing of the said examination before admission.

Admission Details

Candidates are required to appear at a written test conducted by the “West Bengal Board of Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical & Technology Degree Colleges”. The final selection of the candidates for admission is made through counselling conducted by the “Central Selection Committee”. Candidates finally selected for admission, will be required to produce certificates of fitness from a Medical Officer in the prescribed form. Enrolment Form is attached with this Brochure.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average, but due to the lockdown, there has been a lot of tree growth, but it has been cleared and looks good and green. Classrooms are average and the library is good, having accumulated 72000 units. Hostels are average and there is a mess in our hostel. Food quality is average.

College Infrastructure

University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan had all the necessary equipments and infrastructure. The living spaces were clean and discipline was maintained well. The food was highly appreciated. The education system is again excellent.

College Infrastructure

All the necessary infrastructure amd facilities are present in this institute, like big classrooms for separate year and streams, even with separate Department floor. It have smart class rooms, each laboratory have modren and traditional equipments, the whole campus is connected with wifi. It have a good camteen facility for students, and it have 4 boys hostel and girls hostel within the the campus, all the floor are bening cleaned regular basis.
