Vel Tech, Chennai Admission Procedure:-

Vel Tech, Chennai offers admissions to B.Tech programmes based on the scores of VTUEEE, to B.Com, BBA, B.Sc Visual Communication/B.Sc Multimedia programmes based on the merit of the qualifying exam of students, to B.A LL.B/B.Com LL.B programmes based on LSAT/CLAT scores, to M.Tech programmes based on GATE scores or VTPGEE scores, to MBA programmes based on GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ NMAT scores or the scores of V-MAT Entrance Examination. The institute also offers admissions to Ph.D programmes based on the scores of the written test followed by an interview round conducted by the authorities of the institute. However, candidates with UGC/ CSIR(JRF)/ NET/ SLET/ Teacher-Fellowships/ M.Phil or any other equivalent exam are not required to write the Ph.D entrance exam of the institute. For B.Tech programmes-

• Candidates have to apply online for appearing in VTUEEE.

• Students are offered admissions based on the scores of VTUEEE.

• Based on the eligible scores, students also have to appear for the counselling process conducted by the authorities of the institute.

• Students must score 50 percentile and above in CAT and XAT, 150 score and above in CMAT, 70 percentile and above in MAT, 140 score and above in NMAT and 500 score and above in GMAT in order to be eligible for admissions.

• Students can also get admissions based on the scores of the V-MAT Entrance Examination conducted by the institute.
