Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours in Economics is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

For Honours Degree (General & OBC Categories) - 50% marks in aggregate with 45% marks in the subject or related subject (TABLE-1)* at the previous qualifying examination.

(OR)

55% marks in the subject or related subject (TABLE-1)* at the previous qualifying examination and pass marks in aggregate.

(OR)

50% marks in aggregate in case the candidate opting Honours in the subject which is not included in her previous qualifying examination.

For Honours Degree (SC/ST Category) - 40% marks in aggregate.

(OR)

40% marks in the subject and pass marks in aggregate.

(OR)

40% marks in the subject or related subject (TABLE-1)* at the previous qualifying examination.

Admission Details

Admission to all Honours courses will be strictly on the basis of merit.

College Infrastructure

This college has good faculty and all necessary equipments for perfect studies. There is WiFi facility. The library is not up to the mark. There is no hostel facilities. The hygine of canteen food is not well maintained.
