Everyone is relatively aware of the sports industry in India, but fewer know about the course designed to train professionals for the same. Sports management courses are still a very new concept to many, and the course is available in very numbered institutes.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT)- It is a national level test conducted for MBS in various management courses. It is conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. Students can either opt for pen and paper or online mode via a computer.
Common Admission Test (CAT)- CAT is conducted for admissions in India's top IIMs at a national level. Selected students can apply for various MBA courses, including Sports Management. The exam is computer-based and is conducted in November.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)- CMAT is also a national level test conducted for admissions in management courses approved by AICTE. It is a year-round exam, and the mode of conduction is online. Students can also take up a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management (PGDSM) course.
After clearing the exams, the admission process begins, and students have to wait for various cut-off lists released by the institutes. But some might have to appear for the test conducted independently by the institutes.
A major part of the sports industry is governed by government associations like BCCI, etc. And with the increasing popularity of sports among all generations, the employment rate is higher than ever in the sports management field.
This not only elevates the chance for the hiring of merely sports professionals but also creates jobs like sports economists and sports advertisers. Students with a Master's degree are highly sought after and preferred.

The average visual acuity of athletes was found - 20/12.5 (i.e., better than 6/4). The major outcome was seen for the baseball players when all tests of contrast sensitivity, and at all spatial frequencies, it was found that they had a greater sensitivity than the general population.
Moreover, Some even as acute visual acuity as 20/10 (seeing a letter appropriate for 10 feet but seeing it correctly at 20 feet).
