If I have two marksheets (CBSE and NIOS on demand exam for 2 subjects which I didnt have in 12th) will Delhi University accept them both?

Hello there,

Delhi University (DU) generally requires a single marksheet for admission purposes. However, in your case, if you have two marksheets—one from CBSE for your regular 12th exams and the other from NIOS (On-Demand Exam) for additional subjects—DU might consider both, but there are specific guidelines:

Key Points:

  1. Validity of Both Mark Sheets :

    • CBSE and NIOS are recognized boards, so both marksheets are valid.
    • Ensure that the subjects on the NIOS marksheet align with DU’s eligibility criteria for the course you’re applying to.

  2. Eligibility Criteria :

    • DU evaluates aggregate scores based on Best 4 Subjects (for most courses). Both marksheets can be used to fulfill this criterion if needed.

  3. Documentation :

    • You may need to submit both marksheets during the application process and explain why you appeared for the additional subjects.

  4. Clarification from DU :

    • It is advisable to email or contact DU’s admissions office to confirm if they accept two marksheets for eligibility.

Be sure to check the DU bulletin and eligibility criteria for your specific course!

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
