Delhi University offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. DU admission to undergraduate courses is based on the CUET UG exam and is done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Delhi University admission to PG courses is offered based on the CUET PG exam. 

For DU Delhi admission to Ph.D programmes, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance test and personal interview round. As per the Delhi University PG admission criteria, 50% of the total seats are filled based on the merit of the qualifying exam and the remaining seats are filled based on rank in the entrance test. • Candidates can visit the official website of Delhi University to apply for the Delhi University courses.

• Next, candidates need to register themselves by visiting the official website of the CUET UG and CUET PG exams.

• After registration, candidates have to fill out the Delhi University application form with the required certificates and documents.

• Further, candidates are required to pay the application fee.

• Later, take a printout of the application form for future reference.

University of Delhi (DU) offers postgraduate courses with multiple specialisation options. Students interested in admission to the PG courses must fulfil DU eligibility criteria and check the seat availability.

• First, candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria for Delhi University PG admission.

• Then, eligible candidates have to register and appear for the Central University Entrance Test for PG (CUET PG) conducted by NTA. 

• The University of Delhi will release the merit lists of CUET in online mode.

• Candidates whose names have appeared on the merit list of CUET PG are qualified for further rounds of admission. 

• Candidates who meet the requisite cutoff of CUET PG have to participate in the counselling of CUET PG.

• Later, candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the DU admission fees within a stipulated time period.

The university offers a Ph.D courses under its various faculties and departments in full-time mode. Students interested in admission to the PhD courses must fulfil the eligibility criteria and check the DU seat intake.

• Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D programmes need to meet the eligibility criteria.

• Then, eligible candidates have to register on the University of Delhi PhD admission portal. 

• Students must have secured 55% marks in post-graduation and clear the PhD entrance test conducted by the University. 

• After the declaration of result, the merit list is released based on the marks obtained by candidates in the entrance examination. 

• Based on the merit list, candidates are called for interviews or presentation of synopsis.

• Further, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination and interview.

• At last, candidates need to get the documents verified followed by the payment of admission fees to complete the Delhi University admission process.

• Degree certificate and marksheet of all semesters and qualifying examination

• Photocopies of the original documents

• Recent character certificate

• SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM certificate (if any)

• Transfer certificate/migration certificate

• At least two passport-size self-attested photographs
