The college has proper infrastructure along with the needed facilities such as wifi access, sitting arrangement, smart boards, etc. Its all well maintained. The libraries also have enough books and quite reading places. The surroundings are clean and also the food is hygienic. The canteen place is kept clean always.
The course studied by me is Information and Communication Technology. The reason i chose this course is because i am interested in electronics along with the development side. Here in Ahmedabad University they teach this course in excellent way. We have regular assignments, their main focus is practical knowledge. And this way of teaching helps enhance practical skills which would be helpful for jobs.
The placement committee gives us a good opportunity by bringing best companies to us. They help students getting placements by guiding them. The maximum salary offered is around 25 lakhs and a minimum of 20k. The process is easy going for us as we have immense support from our college.
I took admission on NRI quota so it costs 4.5lakhs annual. But the teaching quality and the facilities provided are amazing. Also the campus is good so its all worth the money.
The campus life is just perfect. We have a lot of activities such as music festivals, tech fest, ted talk, cultural fest, etc. Along with students the professors also get involved in the preparations and they become a part of the celebrations. The locations are either our auditorium or the our garden so its safe there.
It was an amazing journey of 3 years. It has everything needed for studying atmosphere.
The necessary infrastructure is all there. Enough classrooms, study rooms, laboratories. Everything well maintained. You'll find licensed version of the necessary software as well. There's even a workshop for mechanical engineering students. Internet is really fast and unlimited. Plenty of space to roam around inside big buildings. Only thing you might find lacking is open space like grounds and sports facilities. Also, a part of the campus is under construction. Canteen is really good too.
The faculties are almost at par with some of the top colleges of the country. The teaching quality is really good. The curriculum is perfect. Projects are heavily stressed upon. Professors have full freedom to design courses as per their ideologies. You'll find the academics rigorous and you need to study regularly to catch up.
Average placement of my branch stands at around 5 LPA these years. It's okayish and I somewhat feel that the students here deserve more. The highest we've seen is 15 LPA. The placement process and all is very organized but maybe we can have more companies. Career Development Centre handles this job.
My programme fee is 1,63,000 per year and its absolutely worth it. The quality of courses, infrastructure, equipment and activities are really good. Also, there's both merit scholarships and financial aid which is very generous too.
The campus is in the heart of the city so that's an advantage. The space might feel a little congested compared to some other colleges but the quality infrastructure compensates for that. The place is very safe too. Support staff is very nice and co-operative. Overall the administration is also good.
This University in my opinion has the potential to become one of the top universities of this country. The environment here is much better right now than its quality of students, in my opinion.
The infrastructure of our college is the best. It is like among the best of the whole country or even the whole world. it is so unique in engineering and architecture that it was mentioned on Instagram by one of the best pages on Instagram. All facilities concerning the infrastructure is there such as circulation, campus passage, space and best blocks in between where we can sit randomly and od some chores.
The academics here is very rigorous and very scheduled. Sometimes, we feel load and stress but the outcome is far more worth than it. I think it is perfect plus it is based on the concept of Project based learning.
Placements is quite a like good. Highest was 15.2 lakhs last year and average was around 5-6 lakhs. It is directly proportional to your efforts and how you have performed in your college life throughout. But, yes surely the college gives good platform in form of companies for placements and rest it depends on one's capabilities.
Value for money is like goood. But the fee is a little bit high I guess. If reduced a bit, can help a lot to more backward and talented people. Otherwise, in comparison to the facilities it is okay as compared to another colleges. Not so less, not so more but average,
Ahh, campus life is great. We have plenty of clubs and societies for events and all such fests and all. Surely, other branches people take out more of it in comparison to engineering students but yes you enjoy a lot here that's my proo=mise.
Yes! My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have classrooms having high technology like virtual white board. Library has almost all books from well known authors from every category. And yes they are all used by students and teachers too and well-maintained.
I am studying Information and communication technology because after watching sci-fi movies, I became very enthusiastic to learn about how AI, machine learning and deep learning works! That's why I chose this field. Yes! My curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. As a computer engineer I have to keep updated with recent technologies and new methodologies. Today's world having high tech. needs to become faster and smarter. So I choose to make my carrer in AI.
They wrote that our university has placement rate almost 85% (in 2017). Which is truly false. I don't understand from how they calculated this number! Highest salary package offered is 15 lacs by Amazon. Average salary is 4-5 lacs!!!! The placement process is not pleasant for me. They take 6000 rs from students for placement and doesn't give satisfied number of companies!
My course (ICT) cost almost 1.7 lacs per year. I felt that it's worth but not like 100%. They are giving their students best facilities but they have not good skilled professors. While taking admission we saw a good list of professors but after a year almost half of them leave the university which cost us a lot.
My college campus is preety good. The best feature is there is no Ragging! And seniors are very supportive and always there for us. Location of University is good. In campus they maintain the silence.
Our classrooms are very specious. It is enough for 100 students. It has good facility of projector , mic , and also black board. Because of the AC in the classroom, temperature is also maintains normal and it is also convenient for the long study period. There are sufficient no. of labs also. Living spaces are neat and clean. A big library in which students can sit for study and also borrow book from the library. It has so many books related to all the topics. Availability of WiFi is also good.
Curriculum is updated and include all the recent development. And we have also facility to choose those subject in which we are interested. Faculties are also highly educated to teach us concept very well. Our is a project based learning so we get practical knowledge also of theory concepts very well.
Quality of placement is good. It's process is starting from 6th semester. There is a committee called 'Career Development Committee' is there to do process for placements for students, get different companies, arrange different seminars etc.
Campus is very good and it is also specious enough. It is safe and can handle emergencies also. So many trees and plants are there in the campus. Students can do different activities there. Charging facility is also there in college campus. So students can also sit under three with their laptop and charger. Teachers and support staffs are also good.
This college stands out from other colleges in the city in terms of the facilities and quality service it provides. The infrastructure has been designed by a well renowned architect and the building offers ample space for ventilation and natural light to fall in. All the classrooms, libraries and study rooms are centrally air-conditioned. The college also provides free wifi with a very good speed. All of them are cleaned twice a day.
I am studying ICT because that's what I wanted to study and this college is famous for. College offers quality education in a way which also engages students to the real world by giving several projects as part of coursework.
The placement cell does not have knowledgeable staff who can bring in good comapnies to the campus. The highest salary package offered has been 12 lakhs for the course of ICT. However, when students apply to the comapnies on their own without placement cell they seem to have higher pay. The average salary is 5 lakhs.
The quality of education provided is quite satisfactory and also worth the fees we pay upto some extent. However, sometimes due to absence and negligence of some faculties in few courses can make one feel that money is getting wasted.
College has a dozen clubs for extracurricular activities like dance, music, literature, sports, food and so on. Students and teachers both cooperate and work together to make campus life a success. The college is set in a very lush green neighbourhood which has presence of many other colleges nearby. So overall you get a good vibe while studying at such a place.
College needs to improve on it's canteen services. Overall it's one of the best colleges in the state to nurture your skills and get industry ready when you move out of the college.
Yes college has good infrastructure. It has different classrooms like lecture Hall, study room multi disciplinary room and labs of course for studying. Labs has all the equipment, software regardless of they are paid or not. Wifi is the best in the list of facilities. But ues from last year campus has became very crowded. We are not getting the proper place where we can do group studies. Although library is pretty good. All the book from curriculum and many non curriculum books are available.
As provided detail in registration I am studying ICT. Which includes both hardware and software courses.Almost all the Faculties are PhD. Some are very good at teching and able to deliver the knowledge well , in understable manner. Thought some do have these qualities. But no doubt all of them are very eager to answer queries. Also we are getting knowledge of very recent developments, theories. Still I don't think we are getting industry level knowledge although we are doing projects.
We do have the whole different department for placements called career development center. They try to place as many students as they can. But I am not satisfied with the technique Or process they follow. And also not much students are placed. The highest package from the last 2 years did not exceed 9-10 lakhs. They do have complicated rules and filters just for appearing in the interview. Also they are taking very high fees for just pass through the process of placement and not giving guarantee
Yeah overall fees are pretty high. And even higher for NRI quota. In some courses I feel it's totally worth it but at the same time also think it's not. So it highly depend on the faculty and teaching methodology.
The college campus is really good. Like you can sit in the courtyard at the center of the building and chill, study, eat, do anything. There are many clubs for different inetersts of the students. Wednesday is specially dedicated to these club activities and no lectures can be plan after 2. These clubs often organize different activities collaboratively. Location is based on activities in the class or outside campus and totally safe. Not a single accident has occurred in these years
Attending in campus treasure hunt and 2 days long hacakthon is worth experiencing. And the single chance of spending night at college.
College infrastructure is upto the mark. Our campus is not that big but it is iindeed beautiful. And it had enough labs and classrooms. And it is cleaned after some intervals regularly I see them wiping floors every now and then.
All the courses are great and we do not study years old content. Recent updates are very well incorporated in the course and plus all the professor who are teaching us are well educated and they are able to serve to us well
I dont yet have any experience but from my observation i can say that it is unable to convince big companies from pune or Bangalore to grab us anything. Mostly all the companies are local from Ahmedabad only
It has one of the best infrastructure among all institutes of the country. The classrooms, canteen, labs , auditorium etc are really well designed. It has brilliant ambience for students to work on their projects in group and together study
Ahmedabad University focuses on project based learning which really helps in practical life. As a research university this university provides a platform for new ideas, real life projects and belief that good theory results in good practice.
Placement is not good as per as other leading colleges of gujarat like DAIICT etc. But it is improving day by day and will reach to its best in near 2-3 years. The highest salary was around 12 lakhs which is mostly for ICT(computer Science, currently) branch.
It is kind of costly as compared to other colleges of the country
Campus life is pretty good
Campus is full of resources and all of them are well maintained. Laboratories are very good especially for chemical engineering, all equipments in laboratories are well maintained and usefull for research work also.
Academic is way better then most of the colleges, faculties are highly qualified and very helpfull. Faculties here support and motivate students to do some research work in free time or sometimes it is part of curriculum also.
Placements are good for computer science, but for chemical engineering placements are worst this because of most of the students here want to go for higher studies and some of them want to become entrepreneur so hardly 2-3 students sit for placement.
Fees for engineering is around 80,000 per semester, it is high as compared to other colleges. But i think it is worth to spend because campus life and academics are way better then other universities.
All the staff are very supportive, and one very nice thing there is absolutely zero percent ragging. Talking about it's location it is located at center of the city and around that you can find everything which student required.
