Placements: About 75% of the students from the course get placed. Mostly IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, etc., visit the college for placements. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Once SPIC and some other chemical industries also visited the college for the department placements. Now companies visit our college for our department placements are very less while compared with the previous years.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college are the best. The hostel facility and the quality of food served are below average. There are three canteens, and the ambience of the canteen is good to eat there. Medical facilities and the doctors available are good.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers in the college are well-qualified and friendly. They make the students highly educated, and students get placed easily in the core department placements.

The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is becoming really hard these days because of the huge demand.

According to your mentioned marks and previous year trends, your rank might be in the range : 30,000-40,000 (this may or may not be accurate due to varying trends every year). For open state quota previous (2017) closing rank for CSE was 1813. So there aren't much chances according to this. You can try applying for ECE in their Amritapuri/Coimbatore/Bangalore campuses with this rank. Just apply to their counseling process and know the exact cutoff. The previous years cut-offs for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University Coimbatore under state quota is 10000 - 22500. For Electronics and Communication Engineering it is from 6800 to 19800 approximately. And for Computer Science Engineering it is 1813- 13800. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth is a private engineering college. There so many departments are offered. And BTech in CSE one of them. So if you are want join this college then you have to give entrance examination. Like JEE Mains or tamilnadu entrance examination. This college present in Coimbatore.  It is NAAC aggregate grade A college .

Due to result last year CSE cutoff of JEE Mains 7500 for general category candidate and SC category candidate rank 9700. So if you are rank in between this you can get admission there. I'll provide you a link below you can check it for more details about the college

With a score of 116/180 marks in AEEE 2021, you can expect your rank around 14000.

Scholarships in Amrita campuses are based upon merit. Scholarship is given to toppers in AEEE.
The scholarship amount in Amrita university is 25% , 50% and 90% of tuition fees.
To get a scholarship you should have a rank below 1000. In order to get this rank your score should be more than 160 marks.

So it is difficult for you to get a scholarship based upon your AEEE marks. You can still try for other scholarships provided under various categories.

You have a very descent score but your chances of getting the mentioned seat is very slim because of the highest demand of course among the candidates and very limited intakes. With the score you have mentioned and going along with the past trends of Marks vs Rank, your rank could lie around 5k which would be insufficient to fetch you the desired seat. Incase youre planning for Placements and securing a Job directly post BTech, I believe you should consider Amrita Coimbatore, considering the strong placements in Mechanical Engineering, even if it comes at a Higher Tuition Fee.

However, even if youre 5% inclined towards pursuing Masters/MBA/MTech/PhD after your BTech in some of the Higher Technical and Managerial Institutes of India, you may select Amritapuri Campus over Coimbatore as the Curriculum is same, and then it depends on your Dedication, secondly Amritapuri also has some scope of fair placements.
