It has the most beautiful campus. With lots of greenery and huge classrooms fully air conditioned . It also has good hostels and the food was amazing. It has a rock garden in the heart of the campus which is a great hangout space for students.
The faculties are well qualified and provide quality education to students. It was a good learning experience. They have relevant subjects and a good course structure, which added value to our overall learning experience.
Since most of us don't get into the placement process after B.com people who are willing to get placed will get good opportunities and will get a chance to get into big companies. I didn't apply for any placements but if you are willing to then go for it.
As a private university, the value was decent for the money that you have paid. You get top facilities with good quality education. For my overall college experience the amount i paid was worth it. So, going for it is not a bad idea.
Campus life is amazing. There number of college fests. With a beautiful campus. It also has many cultural clubs where you get to showcase your skills and talents. It has many trees in the campus and a beautiful garden to spend time with your friends.
It is a great college if you are willing to do your bachelor's. Good faculties and a beautiful campus is what all of us need and Birla global university got it.
My college have all the infrastructure and have good architecture. Every department has its own building and facilities. My college has a gym, a library, computer labs, smartboards installed in classrooms, WiFi installed in all classrooms and corridors of all buildings. It has a uniformed mess and the hostel is neat and tidy. Housekeeping staff have been appointed to the cleanliness of the hostel. All the courts needed for the sports are available inside the college campus.
I am studying MBA in Marketing and Operations in Birla Global University as it gave good placements in Marketing. The quality of teaching is average. The faculties are supporting and provide good insights on the market which makes the students job ready. The recent developments in today's market is updated everyday which prepares us for the today's world. The study of the market helps the students to prepare for our jobs.
The placements of our college are good in only for the students who study Marketing as their major. The college only provides Marketing, Finance and Human Resources ad their major subject. Finance and Human Resources major students do not get good placements. Out of 45 students, only 38 were placed and mainly Finance major students were not placed. The average package offered was 5LPA. The highest package offered was 13LPA to a Marketing Major student. The placement process was hectic and was not pleasant. The college was also not supportive to the students who didn't get placed.
The course costed 7.5L for two years. The hostel fees was 74,200 every six months for 24 months. The value for money is not worth much as the ROI is too low. The average students are not getting placed.
The college campus and its architecture is too good. The 30acre campus has all the infrastructure needed for a university. Gym, cafeteria, playing ground, mess and AC hostel rooms is available in the university. The students are amazing but the faculties are not that good and supportive. The location of the college is in a bit interior parts of the city. It's not that safe as the college is located in a forest area. There is a ambulance available for 24/7 and can handle emergencies.
The environment inside the campus is clean and green as there are many trees and plants, but the campus should have been larger in area. The classrooms are large and spacious. The seminar hall should have been larger and there should have been an amphitheatre. There should be a common room for students. The WIFI is slow. The washrooms are clean and washed regularly. The food is sometimes not hygienic.
I am studying MBA here, to make myself job-ready. But studies at BGU are above-average. The faculties pack us with numerous assignments right before some days to exams, which makes the students rush for completing them and makes them unable to study for exams. The faculties are always there to help us clear our doubts. The faculty teaching "Developing Self for Corporate Readiness" could not teach about GDPI courses well.
The quality of placements here is above-average. As the placement drive started during last September, only 8% of students have been placed. Till now, the highest salary package offered was Rs. 7.5 Lacs per annum. The placement process was not that easy and pleasant for me. The college was supportive.
The course of MBA costs Rs. 3.5 Lacs per year (Rs. 7 Lacs for the entire course for two years). In my opinion, I don't fully feel that I am getting my money's worth, because the studies and infrastructure could have been better.
The campus is eco-friendly. The students are friendly. There are many fun and cultural activities going on inside our campus. The faculties and other support staff are supportive and friendly. The location should have been in the main part of the city of Bhubaneswar, to get more exposure, and this location is not that safe. It could not handle emergencies that efficiently.
The college should minimize the study pressure on its students during exam time. The infrastructure needs to improve. The food should be cooked hygienically. The college should concentrate on improving teaching quality rather than organizing numerous fun and cultural activities.
The campus at Birla University is modern and well maintained. The library is well stocked with relevant books and resources, and the classrooms are equipped with the latest technology to enhance the learning experience.
The B.com program st Birla university is well structured, offering a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of commerce . The curriculum includes a mix of theoretical and practical subjects, which helps students develop a strong foundation in business and finance.
During my time at Birla University , the placement cell worked diligently to bring reputed companies for campus placements. This support was instrumental in helping many students secure job offers before graduation.
Birla University in Bhubaneswar provides a conducive environment for pursuing a B.com degree. The academic rigour, supportive faculty and extracurricular activities contribute to a well rounded education.
The campus environment at Birla University is vibrant and diverse.I enjoyed interacting with students from various backgrounds, which enriched my overall college experience was great and I really recommend everyone.
It was very nice experience.
Birla Global University has a nice infrastructure with all the basic facilities. The classrooms are well equipped with air conditioner and other facilities. Everything is well maintained . Also hostel rooms have air conditioner.
I have completed my B.com hons. The curriculum is well structured . Faculties are supportive and understanding with great understanding of subject. All th course books are available in Library with many other books.
I didn't opted for placement as for b.com but some of my friends asked for placement and were placed. Placements for M.B.A are good. The placements are getting good day my day. Many of my friends are continuing their higher studies.
Seventy five thousand for one semester and 60 thousand for hostel per semester (which is worth it)
The only problem is it is bit far from main city. It will take half an hour to reach the main city.
Bgu have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. They have good classrooms, library as well as canteen. They do have nescafe point. College also have basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground.
Birla global University teacher's are highly educated and their way of teaching is so good. They give good exposure of industry and enhnace more on communication skills. Also they had good course curriculum.
Placements are average. Not many comapnies come for placement. But companies like pidilite, Adp solution and many other visit the college. Mba students get better opertunity than bba students. This year 20+ companies are coming.
It is a good college talking about infrastructure. College has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It provides 24/7 wifi, ATM facilities. College have football ground, cricket ground also volleyball and basketball court.
I am currently pursuing my graduation in BBA HONORS. It has good faculty members and they have a dynamic way of teaching. The teachers are very friendly and help in every possible way. Their course structure is so good.
Well in my findings placement reports are good of Bgu. Companies like pidillite, reliance, Apple, Ltd foods come for placements. Our seniors got good packages. And college promised us to give a good package this year as well.
Not much of a big campus rather its small and everything is available at a walking distance. University also provides playing grounds for football, basketball, volleyball and badminton. It also has a tuck shop and a nescafe.
Cooperative faculty members and use easy methods of teaching which makes a lot easier to understand the topics. The teachers use ppts to take classes and use you tube videos in the classroom to get a overall view about the topic.
According to me the placement staffs are very friendly and cooperative. They help a lot students with finding internships and summer projects. The placement for bachelors is pretty average and with average packages are only offered.
College is having good infrastructure, including basketball court, volleyball ground, football, and cricket ground. Also their classrooms are well maintained. Bgu also have a rock garden where you can spend time with friends. They have a good library having all sorts of books.
I am studying BBA(Hons.) . Other courses are also offered here like B.com, B.sc data science, Law and Bca, Ma in economics. Their teaching quality is so good and they encourage more on aquiring industry skills.
Many big companies like pidilite, reliance, adp and other companies come for placement. Many of our seniors got placed. We are also going to fill our form for placement. College ensures us for a good placement this year.
The infrastructure is well equiped with all the necessary facilities , like well maintained and equipped classes , laboratories and library. Washrooms are clean and hygienic. The hostel and mess facilities are also very good.
I am studying bba hons. The quality of teaching is very good, the teachers are very cooperative and approachable. The exposure given to the subject is very nice. Company exposure and internships are also provided.
Placement are good , students who passed this year got placed on companies like ADP and LT foods Ltd with decent packages. Students are also prepared for the placements to make the placement process easy. The college is very supportive to the students.
Yes this is a good college to get graduated and is a total value for money. According to the fees the facilities provided is very good.
The campus life in BGU is very happening, sports, festivals and functions are all a part of bgu. The staff and teachers are very nice and supportive. The campus is located in a very peaceful and calming place.
BGU is a nice option if you are searching for a good and budget friendly college.
Hello!
The fees for birla global university bhuvaneshwar is:
Tution fees = 8.5 lacs for 2 yrs , &
Hostel fees = 2.968 lacs for 2 yrs (double sharing)
so, total fees is around 11-12 lacs.
The placements are:
avg placement = 4-5 lacs
highest placement = 9.5-10 lacs
The ROI of the college is very poor, and it's a below average college. Fees is quite high.
So, it's advisable to go for any other good average college rather than this one or take a drop and prepare well for the mba entrances and crack IIMs and other top b schools.
i hope this helps.
Tanisha, the package a company offers depends on various factors like your performance in selection rounds and interview, your resume, how you fit with the company's expectations, package offered by them to the previous batches, etc. We cannot estimate it just on the basis of your work experience.
Although I would like to mention the placement scenario at Birla Global University, Bhubaneshwar for their MBA course to give you a basic idea. The placement percentage is around 90 to 95% with an average package of 5-6 lpa and highest package is around 9.5 lpa. Some of the top recruiters are KPMG, Deloitte, ITC, HCL, Axis Bank and Birla Sun Life.
